I see it as Sonic having gotten so skilled over the time that's passed since the first Sonic Adventure that he basically doesn't even need the emeralds to kick Perfect Chaos' ass, but then the Emeralds were used to essentially 'pacify' Chaos with the 'resonate energy' back then...
Maybe Sonic's just spam-used the Chaos Emeralds so much that he literally resonates the energy to pacify it? Maybe i'm just looking too deep into it, though, and it's just meant to be a boss fight for the fun of it. v:v:v
I'm not a fan of the Modern Chemical Plant theme.

From the video I saw, phase 1 is like 99% of the battle. The second phase took the guy 10 seconds.

I'm calling bullshit, simply because 1) There's a fangame being developed called Sonic Dimensions and TSSZ news has been known to make a story of an alleged Sonic game being named after a fan game that was already being developed and 2) It's TSSZ news
While I do believe SEGA might have plans to make a Colors sequel, I doubt it will be named Dimensions or anything of that kind

And they'd be on their ass if they were serious about making another Wii exclusive. I mean really, it's Sega for god's sake, and they're now doing Nintendo exclusives on a semi-regular basis?

Nintendo really needs to stop doing that shit. First the 3DS which associates the DS with it (even though they are completely different generations of hardware) and now the Wii U (which presents the same issue)

The Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube and its Plus re-release for PS2/Xbox had Spinball, among a few other games here and there (like Flicky, Mean Bean Machine, Ristar, Comix Zone, and The Ooze).

I have Sonic Mega Collection Plus for my PS2, and yes, it has the Genesis version.
Me, I only want the Sonic Gems Collection for Sonic the Fighters.
