So, anyone else actually hoping for DLC? I'd personally really like to see Mystic Cave and Death Egg (S3&K) on this engine.
I said a couple pages ago that I'd like to see Kingdom Valley from Sonic 06 (yes i mean it) and Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3.
I like how Sega has the nerve to put in statues for Dark and Hero Chao, yet we will never see another Chao garden.
And my only complaint with the game are some of the voices, so it has nothing to do with the great gameplay, but i dont think ill ever be able to hear the words Homing Shot ever again without going insane.
Launch Base Zone.
Angel Island.
Pyramid Cave.
Anyone else just get an update?
I just love downloading at 120KB/s on my 50MB/s connection
Re: hopes for future DLC: I want a Chaotix-themed challenge level where you have to complete the course with Heavy and/or Bomb chained to you. I also really want to hear the Oil Ocean music again, although realistically the level's not appreciably different enough from Chemical Plant to be worth including it in playable form.
All I want in a future DLC for this game is the fucking Final Rush level from Sonic Adventure 2.

Isn't it already in the game? It was in a screenshot.
Ugh I don't know if I should get it or not due to my computer. Currently have an AMD 64 x2 4400+ 2.3GHz and that's AWFUL. I'm debating between an Intel Pentium G620 or just spending the extra and getting the Sandy Bridge i3.... I need a new motherboard as well obviously, so for the latter I'd end up spending $170. But this is for more than just Sonic...
You should really be aiming for a Sandybridge i5 2500k or the cheaper AMD Phenom II X4 955, if you're not overclocking and thinking of the 955 then stick with the i3-2100 since it's equivalent to the 955 at stock speeds. Ram is incredibly cheap and you could get 4GB of DDR3 for around $20. Depending on your computer you might need to upgrade other components such as the GPU, PSU and even the case if it's a prebuilt. Anything in the $400-$500 budget will do you great depending on what you can salvage from your current build.

That was just the fight against Shadow.
This game chugs on my laptop, but I can't stop playing it.
Some of the slower-paced modern Sonic sections really play out like a polished Sonic Adventure 3 would, makes me happy.

I'm at about 78% completion, with everything up through Seaside Hill completed and S-ranked, as well as the rest of the game finished, but not completed. So last is the Modern Era that I need to find the red rings and S-rank, which I presume will be a balls-grappling adventure.
Someone send help, got a red ring in classic seaside hill then suddenly hard mode unlocked.
The entire level vanished. All of it. I'm literally running across invisable platforms with the rare spring or floating platform, worst part is I'm making it through alright so far.

Wait didn't this game just come out yesterday? Is it really that short?
Cant decide if i want this or not since i expect that some of my personal favourite sega genesis levels wont be included

He seems to have it on console, which has been out since November 1st (or earlier if his store broke the street date).

Recorded myself doing the Final Boss act on Hard.

[sp]Found it funny how he didn't even get to pull off a laser attack or slow time down move.[/sp] :v:
[sp]Still not very sure what they mean by evading him when I get close enough.
I notice he swipes his arms at me, but letting go of boost doesn't seem to help and heading the other way seems to be worse than just letting him hit me.[/sp]
Also anyone know what this patch did? I still have the same problems as before. (Online crashes me and inside the skill shop all my controls are unresponsive as heck.)

You do know that Steam has a screenshot function, right?
I'm excited for potential mods that may come out. I'd love a big open world playground map, if custom maps are possible.

Holy shit the music went so well
Holy shit the music went so well
[sp]I was damn disappointed the real Final Boss music didn't have any sort of vocal track.
The fight reminded me of Dark Gaia for some reason as well so I thought Endless Possibilities fitted much better.[/sp]

[sp]I feel sad that despite having S-ranked the Time Eater on my first go in beating the game, somehow, he felt like the most annoying boss simply because of how unresponsive the goddamn controls were. The game gives you no advice about how shooting the other Sonic forwards will slam debris, switching between 2D and 3D is extremely out of the left-field instead of feeling instinctual, and I literally had both of my Sonics /facing backwards/ when I went to the 2D thing at one point.[/sp]
On an alternative note, is the Homing Attack for Classic Sonic unlockable or was that by game-data editing only? Trying to figure out the conditions to unlock that and the Sonic 1 extra.
Hey guys, I purchased the game today because of certain reasons. With this, I , purchasing a day after the release, got Sonic 3 and Knuckles with it for some reason. Sonic 3 and Knuckles wont launch oddly enough. So what would you say would be my best bet? Is the game going to be removed from the library, or will I still get to keep it.
^ That and Sonic 3D are pre-order bonuses. Dunno why you got them if you bought afterwords.
So I just noticed when I exit Sonic Generations it doesn't kill it's process and Task Manager won't let me kill it either. :|

Wow, Sonic Generations PC just hates your computer, doesn't it?
