Gun chase was the most intense gaming experience I've had in a long time.

Ice Cap Zone confirmed for future DLC.

If only
I want to see all 3 of the original games remade on this engine
[editline]9th November 2011[/editline]
After beating all the sonic 1 levels you unlock spin dash, after beating the sonic 3 levels you get the different shields, after beating it all you get the homing attack.
Also special stages and actually having to collect the emeralds
Only texture changes so far, seems like a waste in Shadow's case as theoretically could use his model and texture from the game.
Same goes for some animations I guess thanks to that basically "2 Player mode" as his Rival match.
my 360 controller's lb button is broken and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, mostly it just randomly presses itself constantly and I can't fix it, have no cash to buy a new one
I really don't want to play this game with the keyboard, is there any program I can use to rebind the lb button to like select(It's less comfortable but I can actually hit it 100%)? Xpadder works but the control is a lot more sensitive and I can't use the RT/LT triggers with it for some reason(5.7).
reposting to see if anyone has an answer

This fucking game
Holy shit my camera started going crazy in Speed Highway, it started clipping through the wall and going all over the place.
Up & down & all around indeed.

Well that settles it then. Guess I've got to get this game.
[editline]9th November 2011[/editline]
Sonic music is really odd. I can objectively say that Adventure 1 and 2 (and forward, but none of those matter :v:) had awful, cheesy soundtracks. And yet I love them anyways.
Nostalgia's a hell of a drug.
Where can I get the ripped OST? :(

It was so cheesy that it went past terrible and all the way out the other side to charming
Oh man, the nostalgia after hearing this.

Why cant i play this song in levels Sega dammit.
So I just got S on most of the bosses on hard mode.
This game is lovely, It's a blast. My favorite Sonic game
The only thing this game leaves me wanting is more.
I think that's the mark of a winner right there.

Look at it, then feel bad because you will never have one.
Anybody have a clue what the patch did?

Not like you can right click on Sonic Generations and click 'News' or anything.
Updates to Sonic Generations have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:
- USA flag is now correctly displayed in Online Mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Shop menu would become unresponsive at low frame rates.
- More accurate timing clock to 60Hz—may fix some issues with fluctuant frame rates.
- Updated default keyboard layout.
- Keyboard controls now correctly support drift.
- Screen display has been sharpened when AA is disabled.
Notes:
- Users of NVIDIA Optimus graphics cards may experience an issue where the Configuration Tool fails to detect the Optimus card. NVIDIA are working on fixing the problem, and will get an update out shortly, during the next driver release window.
- If you experience any other problems, please contact customersupportuk@sega.co.uk with details. To help us identify and fix the issue, please provide as much information as possible on your PC hardware, and the issue that you’re experiencing.
whats a right click :downs:
On a serious note, thank you.
I know its not exactly about sonic generations, But blaze's backstory makes no sense, If she's supposed to be the "Sol Dimension's" Sonic, Then why does she guard the emeralds, in the regular dimension isnt that knuckles job?
So confusing...

Knuckles guards the Master Emerald. But otherwise, hell if I know. Then again, you've got Silver and Sonic '06 in here, and the latter got erased from the (loose as it is) timeline. Silver's probably the one from Sonic Rivals 2, but then there's the fact that he's in Crisis City...
Man, even if I say otherwise, i'll try to make sense of Sonic stories and time travel. :suicide:

That's supposed to be there, right?

well then that raises another question, Where is the "Master" Sol Emerald?
[editline]11th November 2011[/editline]
Also, I got S ranks on every stage, boss, Hard difficulty boss, and all the missions.

That notch in the wall is meant to be the spot for the Casino Night DLC, if I remember correctly.
That new update fixed all the frame rate and freezing issues I had. All challenges complete!
Fraps still kills my game though.
Anyone have any tips for beating the final boss w/o taking damage?
I need two more achieves for full game completion and thats one of them.

I believe the achievement needs rewording since, if you stay as Super Sonic the whole time, you can't really be hurt :v:.
Regardless, my advice is: When he's about to whack you and you're not sure you can dodge it (His hand can reach in the wildest of directions and hit you regardless), just shift to another Sonic and you'll dodge it. You'll lost progress catching up to Robotnik though. And make sure to keep your ring count in check by going with 2D Sonic and grabbing rings, since getting them in 3D is like putting my fingers in a blender. Maybe just my problem. And a little bit of luck doesn't hurt :v. (Dont know what is consider damaging. Hitting the sides? Hitting those objects while boosting?)
Trying to get all these red rings is killing me. Sticking to getting the red rings in Act 1 since thats the easiest for me. Cleared Green Hill, Chem Plant, Sky Sanc, City Escape and Speed Highway. Loooooooong way to go

Thanks for the help...
I also already got all the red rings, its pretty easy. Just talk with the person...err...animal next to the act your missing rings on and if you talk with them enough times they'll tell you where you can get a red ring.
Completed all challenges but I'm still missing 5 songs. Don't tell me some random 5 Red Rings are going to unlock those...
Fuck, and two of them are Green Forest and [del]What I'm Made of[/del] Reach for the Stars!
