What was the problem? Installation is easy peasy. If the problem was you have an ati card that was messing up turn catalyst AI off.

All it takes is a little tweaking, you just need to experiment with some of the settings and it will look good.

When i try it, it looks extremely zoomed in and everything looks pixellated.

I want to see where modders take Doom 3 now that they're releasing it's source code.
How do you guys get Doom 3 to run at 1920x1080? I'm running windows 7 64 bit and my nvidia drivers are up to date. I'm also trying to force the resolution with an autoexec.cfg by r_mode -1 and r_customheight and width and it still is 640x480 when I start the game up. :suicide: It should be simple.

it still appears to be low res in the menu. Is it also 640x480 after starting a game?

Go to the Doom 3 folder and then base. Open DoomConfig.cfg with note pad and cntrl+f to find "seta r_customHeight" and change seta r_customheight to 1920 and seta r_customwidth to 1080.
but as the guy above said, the main menu will look really low res and so will the PDA but the game is at a 16:9 res.

Gotta change aspect ratio in doomconfig.cfg, 1 for 16:9, 2 for 16:10.

Every time you start the game it will go back to the default settings in the doomconfig.

I can't say I'm not mad about Conviction, but Ubisoft Montreal said they knew they couldn't do better than Chaos Theory and that was their magnum opus so they wanted to experiment and do something completely different. Hobo Sam went too far, so they toned it down.

set doomconfig to read only then. And then set the Aspect Ratio to 16:9 like Super Muffin said.
