Yeah, soft shadows is the thing I'd like most in DooM 3 but it lags the most out of anything. I usually decide it's worth the 20 FPS in the end.

I was making a zombie coop mission, and one of the playable characters is a scouting dog. A lot of fun to scramble through the woods and go lure hoards of zombies into your buddy's free fire areas.
