for example, total war games, why would you want unlimited cash and unlimited actions per turn? what's the point in even playing if there's no struggle and no point in doing anything?
what's the point in removing the fun from CoH by being able to have a ton of infantry in 2 minutes?
what's the fun in being unkillable in fps or rpg games? why would I want to fly through everything with no difficulty?

for some people it makes the game more fun, for example I don't want to spend my entire day dying over and over again to that one god damn monster so I just cheat, or if it's a freeroam game like saints row 2 or just cause 2 I cheat like a motherfucker

I suppose so, opinions differ. Though I do believe in cheating in open world games like GTA, but I don't like to cheat during missions or anything. I like a bit of a challenge.

hosting modded private lobbies for modern warfare 2 a few years ago, harmed absolutely nobody and was done in good spirit

LasGunz, your accent is excellent.
Mass Effect 2 with Jean-Luc's hires character textures along with 16x AF and 16xQ CSAA forced in my GPU control panel. Plus I tweaked some of the shadow settings in the INI file so they look substantially better. Not a massive visual change but it gets rid of some of the most annoying graphical flaws in the game. Shame Texmod's massive performance overhead means the game initially takes about 5 minutes to get to the main menu and even my GTX570 dips below 40FPS when the screen gets busy. Annoyingly here are still some noticeable jaggies, probably need to do a bit more tweaking in the INI to solve it. Maybe UE3 just doesn't take AA very well, forcing it in Borderlands improves the visuals but doesn't get rid of jaggies entirely like you'd expect 16xAA to do.
