I've been messing with console commands and it seems like it kicks in but when a new area is loaded it breaks. I tried "vid_wait 1" as I saw suggesting on some websites but it's an invalid command.

that's only because most high res texture packs are just exactly the same as the normal textures only with maybe a few more bricks in places and more bumps in walls

Annoys me how the DLCs are basically patches that you pay for. At least Semper Fi was.
For all the shit they added in Semper Fi I was willing to pay a bit, especially compared to other DLC content, Call of Duty comes to mind. $20 for 13 new features compared to $15 for 5 maps, I think its not that bad.

For The Motherland beefs up the game ALOT more. It adds everything you could want or need and fixes a million things that were lacking before. With the new patches that have been released, they have fixed and added even more. It's like drowning in new stuff :v:

Is HoI3 any easier to get to grips with? I tried getting into HoI2 but it was pretty overwhelming and frustrating, as I couldn't figure out how to do anything.
