-snipped the rest-
I've probably asked this before, but what's the game?
I just love this game (Brothers in Arms). Too bad the new one will suck.

BiA has to be the best WWII FPS series I've played. Reminds me of when the new BiA was announced. I was complaining to my friend about how it's nothing at all like the old ones, And he remarks about how he never really liked BiA and prefers CoD :downs:
So I was starting my Christian Crusade in Southern Japan until suddenly these motherfuckers started to crash my party The Ikko Ikki have laid siege to my newly captured fortress and they were smart enough not to directly attack it. So I had no choice but to meet them in the field. They also had my only army in the Mainland besieged. Most of my forces were conquering Shikoku at the moment. Knowing that I fucking hate the Ikko Ikki, I started to take on this enemy very slowly. I start to bleed my enemy dry of numbers as they started to send in pieces of their army at me. I couldn't afford a direct confrontation due to the fact that most of their units had experience twice my levels and they had the sheer numbers on the field itself and a maximum level general. Using matchlocks, and a combination of my cavalry I started to cut down the individual units of archers they the Ikko threw at me with ease The enemy started to shift it's ranks continuously and this allowed me to take the woods. The DLC unit, Wako Raider is a great stealth unit, these motherfuckers walk in snow barefoot too. The enemy continued to send pieces of it's archers into the woods. Luckily this gave me the opportunity to set up ambushes. The enemy archers had insane accuracy due to their experience so it was basically suicide to face them in the open field. I had to keep my matchlock units from moving, and have them wait, hidden as the enemy comes closer for the kill. I also had pirates and samurais in hiding in the woods so that they can take out the archers quicker as they got closer. I also sought the opportunity to create a pincer movement. I sent a force to take the woods to the north, but the Ikko got wise and banzai'd their cavalry into my spears. Meanwhile, in the southern woods, the Ikko send out a huge number of their archers to retake it. Remember, this clan has Ashigaru units that are like..25% larger than the regular units. So they have like an extra 50 fucking men for each unit. I had pirates just on the treeline waiting for them to get closer while my musketmen were skirmishing the archers to come closer. Then I sprung the attack. The pirates burst from the treeline and charged. Some of the archer units had enough time to react and fire their masses of arrows upon my men. The Wako Pirates have little armor so they took a heavy toll. As the Pirates charged head on, I then had my Yari Samurais charge in to their side with rapid advance and I had cavalry hitting it's flank so they won't retreat. Now back to the Northern Woods, I set up another ambush there. The Ikko decided to pour all their chips in there so I had to brace for their mass attack. Springing my ambush on the two closest archer units, I forgot that they had even more on the hill. The two units suffered hard losses but they managed to keep their swarms at bay. While that was happening, their generals, (all 3 of them) had the brains to charge my center only to be met by spears. The army lost 4 generals and the moral just forced the survivors on the hill to rout as I started to close in on them with my musket troops. And so ends the decisive battle. My Mainland Army survived the siege with the help of hastily assembled forces that arrived from Kyushu to counter the Ikko threat. The Ikko army was devastated and now three regions before me lay unprotected. I continue my Christian Crusade and prepared to create the Nanban Quarter that would allow me to use European Galleons as a part of my Navy.
Too bad the new one will suck.
It isn't part of the same series. We've been over this again and again. It only shares the title.

Is section 8 prejudice worth buying now that its on sale?
Is section 8 prejudice worth buying now that its on sale?
I played this first one and hated it. I don't see how people like it on metacritic. Bastion is worth the buy though it's great!
I played this first one and hated it. I don't see how people like it on metacritic. Bastion is worth the buy though it's great!
It's pretty fun I must say, now idea why'd anyone hate it. Only thing it misses is more people playing it.
I played this first one and hated it. I don't see how people like it on metacritic. Bastion is worth the buy though it's great!
First one wasn't that bad to be honest but wasn't worth buying at launch, but the new one was worth the $15 at launch but it died too fast, the sale brought it new life and there's quite a few active servers. But in the end I wouldn't recommend it unless you get the four pack and play either Swarm mode with friends or want to have bot matches with friends in any of the other game modes. The singleplayer is a good way to kill 5 hours but has no replay value unless you're just achievement hunting.
get out of here you latvian scum
You summoned the wrath of "Latvians on FacePunch"...
I've probably asked this before, but what's the game?
Hearts of Iron 3 with the expansions: "Semper Fi" and "For The Motherland" I'm playing with a mod called: Random Map and Scenario Generator  Great fun for the whole family.
Haven't even touched it and it breaks... [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/sytHe.png[/thumb]
Probably modded to death, try reinstalling. And if you haven't finished the main quest in vanilla MW yet, do it, its a lot of fun without mods.
