I don't have long loading times at all right now since the updates so I guess they fix that problem as well.

it only takes a while to load the first time you start the game (it has to generate Maps and what not)
And then after that it its a a slow start up the first time every time you launch it after your computer turns on. But after that its fine.

I think you can go with For The Motherland before Semper Fi, I'm not sure though but if you can, then go for FTM. It changes the game in alot of different aspects. It also fixes alot of needed things that were broken in the original game.
