Took about 50 minutes to render, about 30ish to upload and then another 30-40 to process.
I don't mind really, I watched some funny videos, read a book, played with my two badass dogs and bought some snacks. Time well spent.

That Overgrowth Alpha 145 video showing off the damage makes me want to cancel my Dead Island preorder and get Overgrowth and spend the rest on the Sucker Punch soundtrack or something.
Do steam give refunds on preorders made through paypal? What should I say to them?

actually, I'm the rabbit in that shot
I kicked his sword, which impaled him in the head. The blood physics went along with it and everything, it looked fantastic. Only problem is when there's a lot of blood on the screen the framerate drops like a bitch, but if you're doing it right you'll have pressed tab by now which slows the game down and makes it easier on the physics simulator and helps out a [b]lot[/b] with the framerate.

if I'm having a fight at normal speed, I get around 30
a fight in slow motion is around 80

Ah, I thought it looked more like the sword was clipping with his head in that screenshot, but if the physics are that good, I'll probably look into getting it. Always been a sucker for that sort of thing.

Overgrowth is in the early alpha stage, its an unoptimized, small editor basically.
Personally I'd rather have the full game Dead Island to play then the Overgrowth Alpha, because the actual game isnt going to be finished for a long time- and you could get enough money by the time it even goes into beta stage.
I've had Overgrowth for a long ass time, just letting you know so you don't regret it.

Yes they do. Just tell them that you want a refund. They ask you whether you want the money back into your paypal account or as credit in the steam wallet.

I've been following Overgrowth for a couple months now and I had no idea they updated weapon physics to be able to impale... I know they can get stuck in surfaces though
also what's with the white patch on the sword? Did you retexture it or is the screenshot at a weird reflective angle
P.s. to everyone else; Overgrowth has the best blood physics ever and you would be a fool to not at least start watching the developer videoblogs
