Modded morrowind can be quite pretty when it's not trying to make you hate it.

seriously there's only one way to hit cliff racers, they animate like shit and are spread ubiquitously around the island, meaning a good portion of your screenshots are of cliff racers and ALL CLIFF RACER SCREENSHOTS LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME
also I have a mod that adds ambient birds that seem to use the cliff racer idle AI, meaning if there's any kind of hill or outcrop or tower you'll generally see a few birds or cliff racers with their heads crammed inside it
Is it just me or does the Shivering Isle really look like it came straight out of Morrowind? Similar art style and architecture imo.

Yeah, the giant mushrooms are definitely influenced by morrowind, as is some of the architecture.
And a lot of the monsters are from morrowind as well.

Thank god for that, I thought I was going insane-o. I haven't explored the Shivering Isles that much for now, after about ... 3 years of on/off playing Oblivion, I still have much to explore in Cyrodill. :downs:

i bought rogue warrior for 5 dollars.
this game is unbelievably bad. my keyboard stops working every 5 minutes when i play and i have to plug it back in. the game runs like shit for no reason.

you could use morrowind overhaul or brorrowind if you want to get it done faster but this guide provides the best result and you're less likely to have problems
Dead Island looks like a less brown/gold colored Far Cry 2 engine. Wonder if it's related. The lightning looks similar. That flat shine on objects.

whenever people talk about rogue warrior I always confuse it with rogue trooper, which was apparently a decent game
Rouge Warrior is one of the worst pieces of shit ever.

yeah. with the bloom and shadowing and overall lighting in general it really REALLY has that far cry 2 dunia engine vibe to it. is it dunia engine? it looks and plays just like it.
regardless, though, it's still a very good looking game

I dunno by today's standards, 2011, it looks pretty ugly. Everything looks really flat, occasional extremely shiny materials and bad bumpmaps applied here and there.
Maybe it'd look good by standards from a few years ago.

I hate how everyone is saying Dead Island is so mediocre, when really it's not. I understand if it's not your type of game but it's not bad, just plagued by some glitches.
Yeah the general feeling I'm getting is that past all the technical problems which should get patched its a really good game.
Fingers crossed my copy arrives today.
