Personally I think Underground 2 was the best. Something about it I just loved entirely! I also preferred how you had to drive to everything rather than just starting races in a menu, made it so you got to know most of the map. That, and the soundtrack was pretty fucking rad

I didn't like Shift 1 at all but I enjoy Shift 2 a fair bit. And I normally play sims exclusively.

Shift 2 was pretty good... Nordschleife felt a bit wider than it actually is, though, and that is my only gripe. It's a Need for Speed title, and as far as NFS has gone, it's the best since the first Hot Pursuit Underground was Okay but what killed it was no replay feature, meaning all that car customization could only be admired in the menu's and just before the green light in a race The original NFS is where it's at though, and Shift 2 has come closest to capturing the Original sim-esque NFS game

The only thing that sucks about Shift 2 is the drifting... It's designed to be played on a gamepad, so it's damn impossible to do it with a wheel.

There was a big discussion about whether or not they actually widened Bathurst or if it was just the FoV playing tricks but I know Forza widens the Nordschleife for playability, so Shift 2 might've as well.

Oh I know it's been widened. I've seen it enough times, and raced on it in enough games to know.
