RO2 looks like shit for the kind of performance it requires. They absolutely have to optimize the engine. Yes, I'm running it on ultra, but it still doesn't look impressive.

well, RO2 is the most fun i've had in a game since forever, i simply couldnt care less about the graphics. The animations and the realism makes it damn fun

There seems to be a touch of realism in the lighting of RO2 that is missed in other games. The Unreal Engin's lightmass feature really does well for simulating all that sexy light-bounce. Other than that, RO2 struggles from poorly made resources and lack of detail in certain areas. Some areas are raped with detail that impresses you while some areas are bare with a boring low-res texture.
