Sorry but I'm not gonna stop using min.us. I love it too much. I know they have moments of slowdown and even downtime altogether, but in general they're just as fast as any other place.

My other screen is 25" and 1080p. I actually prefer large pixels. I wish this current monitor was like 40" so I could easily see all the detail.

Well I'm only lvl16, I haven't done any PvP yet, and I've only used melee weapons so far.
I've been doing simple storyline missions up until now, and those will probably continue. I'm hoping to start actually exploring stages on my own.
The gameplay is pretty solid, you can run, roll etc, which uses up fatigue.
There's an element of strategy even at this early stage of the game, and simply running up to a Mammoth King and punching it won't do you much good.
It's also in Beta, so there's a LOT of content to be expected.
I'm having fun with it so far, and that's what matters. Though I haven't talked to anyone really. This would be a lot more fun with people I could chat with while beating up wyverns
Also it's not even trying not to be a MH ripoff, some of the Claymore animations are P. much exactly the same as Monster Hunter Tri's for example.
Let me tell you though, the animations for the attacks are so good.
They ease into eachother so well.
