Felt like sprucing of a fear 2 screenshot in photoshop, I added motion blur, film grain, depth of field and general shadow adding. I kinda feel like I over did it a bit but oh well.

Not directly relating to this picture but in general. But I find mods like this, take away alot from the game. I tend not to use many mods in RPGs especially, if not any. A few here and there but graphics or gameplay overhauls on games like Fallout and Oblivion, really spoil it for me.

probably because the game can't be made to look better because the engine is literally the worst thing ever created
otherwise that's kind of dumb, how does better graphics or more polished gameplay spoil the game for you? you enjoy having an inferior experience?

Eh, fine, I tried. Honestly, it looked fine until i tried adding some motion blur, but by that point I wasnt able to undo it.
I tried redoing the thing, but without motion blur and making it more subtle, hopefully it wont make you guys puke.

They rely on jump scares obviously.
But there were parts of FEAR 2 that had me on edge. Especially those invisible fuckers and the crawling dudes.

i have trackir 5 so one monitor to look around is perfect for me

nice. i always have my left MFCD as NAV anyways or else in the armaments menus and usually right is in NAV too unless I'm using mavericks or locking targets etc. NAV mode in general is pretty great. i don't even use the hud for anything other than shooting my main gun and lining up bombs
a-10 is my fuckin game tho

theres 2 types of horror games, the amnesia/pnumumbra style games that will scare you so shitless you'll piss yourself.
Then theres F.E.A.R type horror, where its just jump scares, and you know that anything that comes after you, you have a rocket launcher to kill it with.
