Really? All because I said the AA was making the image look blurry? Though if it really is just the result of Steam's compression...then damn they have a bad screenshot tool.
I don't know if you're using an Nvidia card or not, but I've gotten good results by using 8xCSAA or simply 8x with Transparency Supersampling set to 8x as well. Removes essentially all of the jaggies from alpha textures and the edges of models, but still retains the high texture detail.

I think it uses sprites for distant vegetation, though the amount of this that is actually visible can be tweaked in the config. Other than that, most vegetation is indeed modeled and the textures use alpha masking for the leaves and blades.
Transparency supersampling should do the trick, if the damn override would work.

I managed to get Crysis running at 60fps 1080p with 2x2 SGSSAA. It was... a sight to be seen.
Playing Act 2 on Hell difficulty, FUCKING EVERY OTHER super unique is immune to physical. Like this motherfucker here:

Took me more than 5 minutes of continuous kiting and Strafe/Freezing Arrow barrages, but he finally died and left a mess thanks to some Chance of Open Wounds.

And I recently got a three socket Superior Tiara so I put the Delirium runeword in it. Needless to say with the amount of arrows I can fire in a span of 5 seconds that 11% chance of casting level 18 Confuse is insanely overpowered, it procs literally every pack of monsters I fight. And the cloud of fart gas is from Breath of The Dying's Poison Nova proc. (took fucking forever to get the Zod rune but damn it was satisfying when combined the last few runes into one)

It's little details like this that make me love RO2.
I mean the game is so damn beautiful, Tripwire did a great job with the detail and design of everything, from visual to audio. If they fix performance a little and stat tracking, it'll be an amazing game. (Not that it already isn't.)

Are you rendering at the same resolution you're displaying?
There are two resolution options in the options, they have to be the same (or you have to render at a higher res) to get it looking crisp.

Adjust your display resolution [I]and[/I] your 3D resolution. If you don't have your display resolution set to the same as your 3D resolution (or higher) it'll appear blurry, otherwise it's stretching the image to larger than it really is.

Who cares about AA? My computer handles AA just fine but a lot of times I just leave it off or low since I do not notice it.
It is only noticable on Screenshots. I mean really, is 8X AA, which is already more than needed, not enough?
