Your game appears to be cursed.

It was a fad, so it was old by nightfall when it arose. Not much of a meme atleast in internet terms

Were you watching Mad Men in the background towards the end of the video? I heard Betty's voice.
Yup

With Bin Laden at the wheel, I don't think your death was random.
They all sound extremely high in that game. No wonder someone ate all the desserts.
Last Battlefront 2 one I swear. :D Need to find more games to play

What game?
It's best to have at least /some/ AA - it adds a bit of extra detail, removes any annoying aliasing and generally makes things look better.
Alternatively, you could just try and use the trendy new solution of post-processing antialiasing and downsampling. In the meantime, have some Mirror's Edge with 8xQ AA and 4x TRSGSSAA. :P
How do you post-process AA?

Not trying to rip on the game or anything but what's so special about blocks casting shadows over a flat plane in 2011?
It's probably not even shadows. It's probably just a texture.
Looks to me like the shadows are rendered ingame, though I can't really tell in a single screenshot
the game came out in 2007
Ok, what's so special about shadows being cast over a flat plane in 2007
Crysis doesn't render vegetation like most games so transparency AA normally won't work, so even 16xQ AA won't do shit in Crysis. So I ran 2x SGSSAA, which means it rendered 3840x2160 in a buffer and scaled down to 1920x1080. Perfect Antialiasing.
And I care a lot about antialiasing, considering crysis looks like ass to me without SGSSAA most of the time. Any time you move all those little pixels that refer to vegetation flicker as it moves, so it's not a matter of jaggies anymore but all the vegetation appears to flicker as I move around.
um
SGSSAA is only for transparent textures, otherwise your game would be a blurred mess, do you mean 2x2 SSAA?
lol holy shit I just tried to play L4D with 128x MSAA, it wouldn't even load so I tried 64x MSAA and my music in the background started artifacting and the level wouldn't load
then I went and tried 16x SSAA (30720x17280 downscaled to 1920x1080) and actually got mediocre FPS, around 25-35. I doubt it was actually 16x SSAA though, shouldn't have gotten performance like that
It's probably not even shadows. It's probably just a texture.
Creating a texture that big and high res would require more work than casting two shadows.
I like the PhysX smoke effects in Mirror's Edge
