I don't think Call of Duty 4 looked great, it looked alright but the colours were pretty dull, at least with Modern Warfare 2 they upped the Saturation Levels. Dont get me wrong, 4th call of duty game is the 2nd best call of duty game in my opinion, but it hasn't recovered since it more or less popularized silliness like kill streaks and such.

Killstreaks, weapon customization, that stuff is really cool imo and one of the things that made CoD4 multiplayer really cool (then again Killstreaks had been there in the first game). They just overdid it in MW2, they based the gameplay around killstreaks and customization instead of having it as an accessory.
