The DOF is generally really subtle in general gameplay, only coming to the fore in cutscenes, where most of the screen is blurred. That's not really a problem though, since it's like that in movies too.

Aye, it is. I just find it painful on my eyes when it isn't so subtle. It's also murder on my card, so I guess it works both ways since I have to disable it anyway.

Yeah, but a joystick is usually a pain in the ass to setup, as you have to spend a while tweaking the sensitivity and deadzones to get the mechs to feel right.

Well, I played Mech 4 and 3 on joystick. Unless you mean it is a pain in the ass to set up for Crysis.

Yeah, that's what I meant. There's no "default" settings for joystick sensitivity and all that; if you just plug in the joystick and set the axises to use, it'll feel like your mech has a torso made of jello.

I don't care for them much, they have really huge and easy to shoot off gun arms; blast off their main gun (LBX/20, gauss rifle, UAC/20) and they basically turn into a walking target since their secondary weapons are well, garbage.
