The sound? Just wait until you need to make it out of the first dungeon. The first dungeon in arena is harder than the last level in any game I've ever played throughout my entire life.

I like how at the top it says "Spike Trap", it's good that it lets you know what they are, i would have been clueless as to what those Spike Platforms were on the ground and walls.
But no seriously it's good that it does, i might try this demo out actually it looks like a nice Defence game.

I know it and i love it, but Heroes 2 is just as good. Its gameplay is simpler and the sprites are a bit more detailed and good looking. Also, the opera tracks are awesome.

I know it's not media and i apologize, but one of the cool things in R-Type Final (PS2) is how there's a series of ships named after things in Greek Mythology, Echidna, Cerberus, Hades and Charon.
Echidna was half woman half snake, known as the "Mother of All Monsters" because most of the monsters in Greek Myth were mothered by her.
Cerberus in Greek and Roman mythology, is a multi-headed hound (usually three-headed) which guards the gates of the Underworld, to prevent those who have crossed the river Styx from ever escaping.
Hades was the ancient Greek god of the underworld.
Charon is the ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers Styx and Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead.
