haha yeah. it even has DAMAGE now. physical damage. it's still iffy but it works. sometimes it crashes the game though if you slam in to another car. the ai doesn't yet try to avoid collisions with you so i keep finding my tires getting stuck in between opponents when they turn right in to me like a bunch of assholes

Got two classic 1.5GB 580, and the game runs... not really like shit, runs kinda fine actually, but the framerate can drop into oblivion in a microsecond because of some light or smoke shit.
Well, it's Metro 2033, so i'm not blaming it too hard. Everyone knows how this game runs.
My mood shifted from fps's to strategy games recently. My only problem is that I'm slow as fuck because I'm overly cautious.

i must just have problems then because metro is the only game that runs awful on dx11. and stalker.
My only problem with metro is that it has all these effects and features, but I barely gives you any choice on it. Its either go 40 fps or 20.

Is it even possible to put a 6870 in the same motherboard as a socket 775 processor?

I have a socket 775 mobo with a 560ti...
Doesn't matter what socket you have, if you have PCIE 2.0 slots on your mobo you can put in PCIE 2.0 video cards. That'll change soon though with PCIE 3.0 coming around the corner.

As great as they upgraded the game graphically, they downgraded the gameplay tremendously.
