That was the single most fucking annoying part of dead island.
I had more trouble fighting that asshole than going up in point blank combat against a thug.
After he magically dodged like 10 of my swings I just threw my cleaver at his head and he died instantly.

C'mon, be nice. As insanely well optimized as Just Cause 2's engine is, not everyone has the rig to turn on all the bells and whistles. If you look at the screenshot of the cityscape, it's very clear that anti-aliasing isn't the problem, but draw distance is. If you have a low or medium range graphics card, it's very likely that it doesn't have the horsepower to display high resolution textures and geometry over such a large distance.
Game still looks damn good regardless.
I get what you're saying but the rugged edges have got to be annoying as hell. And he's playing on the highest res, I'm sure turning it down a bit would allow for some AA to be placed.

Again though, it's not really the anti-aliasing that's the problem (though it certainly would help). You see how pixelated the city lights are in the far distance? That's because the settings are at a low draw-distance. Once textures reach a certain distance away from the player, they shift to a lower resolution version in order to save processing power and memory.

I did turn everything on high in the 2nd screenshot(even the AA) but it made my game run at 2-6 FPS
What card are you running?
Just Cause 2 is really not that well optimized imo.

Really? I had the game running very smoothly on high settings, and I was using this rig:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6ghz dual core
4GB DDR2 800 RAM
XFX GeForce 8800GT 512mb
Very much a mid-range system by modern standards, yet it ran Just Cause 2 beautifully.
