because there isn't anything to critique - do you want me to go over every pixel and explain why it doesn't fit with the one next to it? They're just bad textures, and if you can't tell that yourself then find someone else to explain it to you. I could go on all day about how unrealistic it looks (and before you go off on some stupid tangent about this - no i don't want hyperrealistic games. It's trying to look as good as possible, and failing at that. This is just a simple term to use), about how fog doesn't work like that, about how bland and poorly designed much of the scenery looks. It just looks sloppy and poorly stitched-together, i don't see any reason to go into detail.

Agreed. The base game is great, but Blitzkrieg mod makes it even better. Tank battles often become one-shot exchanges, and the combat in general is much more brutal and fast paced. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to vanilla after playing Blitz.
