yes i can start the a-10 without a reference chart, not sure about 1.0.0.9 iirc they added a step maybe more than one and as noone i know who owns it is interested enough to play regularly i didnt bother patching yet, personally im more interested in the black shark compatibility patch they keep promising
that picture was a joke if you didnt get it although flying under the oilrigs and bridges isnt that easy, especially inverted, obviously when flying against AA i try to fly above there operational ceiling if possible (usually not) or take steps to kill them before they kill me. as for classified systems maybe but you ask me the reason why some buttons have no function isnt because its classified its because its unnecessary even in a study sim, ED would have used there best guess for any systems they couldnt model accurately (like some of the cluster bombs)
also flight and avionics are on realism, apart from labels and external camera's so is everthing else, those settings are also mission dependant in mp so labels are only left on in training style missions or sp which i never play as the dcs black shark/a10c campaigns are horrible.
