While the subtext for this thread is "Graphics Whore Edition," there's no reason you can't grab some kickass screenshots from some older titles and post them here. We have people posting images from Morrowind, Half-Life 1, and any number of non-demanding titles.

haha I see your point. I'm not complaining as such I'm just stating that one day I wouldn't mind to be able to become a PC gamer, I'm 18 years old and at the moment the majority of my money gets spent on going out or trips away from home. I suppose I could just start leaving say £20 out of my wages each week and put it to one side the only problem is I suck at saving up money. Getting one for Christmas is probably more likely.

Oddly enough, even if I get say 15-20FPS I really dont care, I was playing GTA4 the other night online and was getting shitty FPS but i still had an awesome time

I'm honestly rather pleasantly surprised by how well Borderlands is running - it started me at 640x480 on all low, and I thought "bitch please my computer is kicking this things ass". And I don't exactly have great hardware in this day and age. I've since cranked it up to 1280x1024, 4x anisotropic thingy, and everything else on max. And still get a nice framerate out of it. No idea what it is but still nice.
Maybe because a Pentium 4 and an 8600GS are considered adequate?
