But seeing as how people don't like Skyrim pictures anymore, have some GTA IV because I'm to poor for Saints Row.

vice city = best game
Its so colourful and interesting compared to GTA IV
I had just dropped my DP 28 in order to run fast enough away from a tank, when I met a german in a staircase. He managed to fire three shots, before I did exactly the same with my Nagant. My first shot hit the wall, the second went though his arm and into his torso, and I think the last one went into the side of his throat.

Well considering that they redid:
Animation system
Lighting
Shaders
Movement + Collision (felt TONS better than Oblivion)
That's like half the engine.
They redid the shaders and lighting? They didn't redo them enough. It still looks like oblivion in many cases. Running around in first person feels like oblivion too.
Too bad they didn't account for more threads.
More death :D

Animation System is tons better, I can't wait for modders to take full advantage of the new animation system. (Even if this is a double-edged sword...)
Lighting is quite better compared to Oblivion, in my opinion at least... It looks much more natural and not to mention DYNAMIC FUCKING SHADOWS. -ahem-
Shaders are okay, it's nice that they added the FXAA but thanks to OBGE that was already somewhat present in Oblivion, so if it wasn't on vanilla Skyrim it'd be added soon enough.
Movement and Collision are... still iffy I think, try rolling while sneaking and it looks... pretty unnatural to say the least.
These are all my own observations however so... Yeah. :eng101:
Edit - I do agree with Brt though, I hope they patch in some more threading support somehow, it could use 2 more cores at the very least since it's so CPU dependent.

The lighting in Skyrim for me gets on my nerves at times. Like, if I go from a dimly lit room to slightly more lit room (or vis versa) I go blind for 2 seconds. I don't go blind for two seconds adjusting to a slightly brighter light source.
Second Pageking I've had without content, let me change that :

Classy.
Time for some motherfucking MEN OF WAR: RED TIDE
[t]http://i.snag.gy/kzqRn.jpg[/t]
This group of badasses, lead by the super-badass spotter Nikolai Timolev, were ordered to invade and destroy enemy defenses along this harbour. Why? Because that's how the black coats roll! Beach landings? Pfff, real men do amphibious landings at the source of their enemy's naval and land force!
[t]http://i.snag.gy/SlqC8.jpg[/t]
The main force arrives, Black Coats take over the docks, and we get two additional cannon fo---I mean flankers!
[t]http://i.snag.gy/lKfQf.jpg[/t]
Unfortunately the main force soon gets fucked and Joseph suggests the seamen come inside and tell Red Caucasus to blow up the mortars.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/HxEQc.jpg[/t]
The fascists set up an AA gun, breaking the physics of those wagons with every shot that hits them, cutting off those two guys from the rest of the team.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/AAmuE.jpg[/t]
After a few quickloads the nest is bombarded and I can turn on the sound now. Minimal losses, woo!
[t]http://i.snag.gy/EQsTW.jpg[/t]
...unless you don't count in these guys.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/yIyhd.jpg[/t]
But then Nikolai spots some more artillery to spot, so Nikolai's squad moves on while 2nd squad cleans up the back.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/OV2iK.jpg[/t]
Upon noticing our presence this halftrack spontaneously combusted, giving us the ability to cross the road.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/8i18t.jpg[/t]
Nikolai gives the coords to Red Caucasus, which in return bombarded the artillery position, which the main force utilized to penetrate the German defenses.
[t]http://i.snag.gy/fhHDd.jpg[/t]
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
Unfortunately, all good people must die someday, and so did Nikolai. While resting outside of a safe spot, a lone Geman soldier started shooting at him. He did not survive the brief showdown between the two. However, the fact that he lasted for that long gave the Red Army significant progress, extending the defense of Sevastopol and unlocking the next mission in the storyline.

So I put this on my gamefly list and it'll probably be here on Saturday.
For some reason, I don't feel like I'm going to be giving the game back. :v:
why would you gamefly a game like this?
why would you gamefly a game like this?
you can keep it for however long you want so why not
Buy Skyrim or.. LA Noire
why would you gamefly a game like this?
Absolutely. I've been playing for pretty much a week straight now. You miss out on the whole "oh hey I remember playing xyz" thing 6 months later that all sandbox games seem to incur, but if you're like 90% of FP you'll get sucked into it and play your rents worth easily.
I was going to post a few Skyrim screenshots, but it seems I have taken several thousand. So, just have this one instead.
