Created a new skyrim cahracter to replace my dark elf mage who can't complete the main quest since it broke. Noticed that the cahracter creator seems to be geared towards creating girls that look a bit... rough. Like they got punched in the face one too many times. Oh well, the faces at least have definition unlike oblivion's potato men, and I'd rather this than the weird anime things the oblivion mod community made.

I'd appreciate a better selection of hair though, I'd like the modding community to do something about it but knowing them once the creation kit has been released they'll just set to work copying over these awful ones that have somehow managed to be used in 4 games now with no changes without anyone realising 'hey, these are fucking awful'.

oblivion's water didn't reflect everything unless you tweaked the ini, it's the same with skyrim

Yeah, good race mods exist and characters can look alright if the mod changes the head mesh. They still end up looking a bit... off though.

you can too, just download the fxaa PPI ([url]http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=131[/url]) then replace its settings file with the one provided with vibrant skyrim ([url]http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=203[/url])
it gets rid of the horrible sharpening which the retards on the nexus think looks good and just applies some subtle colour correction to make the game less washed out
there's no performance hit since all it's doing is changing the colours

in these shots I was also forcing SSAO through nvidia inspector (which looks great aport from in fog when it bugs out a bit) and my gamma was slightly lower than normal, which I think helps the atmosphere a bit but you might think it's too dark
If only I had a Nvidia card so I could experience the glory of SSAO in Skyrim.

can probably do something similar with ATi though I never found a reliable solution with my 4870 when I had it, enbseries was never very good on ATi and CCC being what it was (shite) had no option for SSAO
the fog in exteriors occasionally makes it bug out but it's fucking lovely all the time in interiors
