Also, for my racing pleasure I either go to rFactor, or the RACE series. If anyone knows any more great sims other than Project CARS because for some reason they don't like my CC.

I don't think the series has really seen greatness since NFS: Most Wanted. Now there was a game that blended action and traditional NFS racing well.

Is the gameplay (car handling etc.) similar to Hot Pursuit? I was thinking of getting it because I loved HP but wasn't sure about The Run since NFS games are kind of hit and miss with me

Need for Speed The Run is a fun game. The vehicle handling is good enough, the story works with the game, the graphics portray the action well.
