And the army will do its shit.

It's not a sniper class, it's called Recon for a reason. BF3 would be a way better game without sniper rifles.

I want a game without any kind of sniper possibilities. I don't know how would that be possible, but snipers piss me the hell off in every game.
I want a game that forces snipers to be actually doing something all the time.
When done right, snipers are actually nice to have on your team. The problem is usually there'll be a kid camping somewhere, I'll ask him to start helping out. When he invariably says no I'll ask him why and he'll scream "BECUZ I R SNYPA" into the mic.

And any military without snipers would be a shitty one. Yes, they're called recon. But they double for both roles, just like Assault is a mobile infirmary and Support is a moving ammo crate. They don't stick to only that function, why should recons be limited to spot'n'shotty?
If you get sniped on an open field then you're a dumbass. If they exploit a bottleneck and hold you down, then go around them. There's tons of ways to avoid snipers. I've personally only got sniped 26 times since launch (yeah i count...).

IMO, snipers are the counter for 2 things, campers, and other snipers. Because the game has been modernized, if theres a camper, grab a vehicle or an explosive and blow out the wall he's hiding behind. Mortars, vehicles, and destruction 3.0 (0.5 for consoles) has defeated the point of sniper recons, and made their only real purpose to counter other recons. I'm all for the removal of all sniper rifles from modern shooters, but I'm not going to complain if they don't, if my team gets harassed by a sniper, I fuck him up with a helo, jet, tank, or a mortar

deal with it, snipers can cover flags from long ranges and do things like laze targets with the SOFLAM, if you're really going to bitch about it then you're an idiot because it's not hard to avoid snipers
It's hard to avoid snipers when most of the time you're in a situation where there might be a sniper hiding and looking at you from any direction and thus there's no spot where you can actually hide from them.
