Is postal 3 any good?
So far it's fun with stuff in game happening like environmentalists robbing a bank (peta basically), taliban fighting peta who in turn are fighting you, soccer moms shouting about baby jesus while trying to tear down a sex shop and chinese restaurant owners trying to kill you because you took their food (cats off the street) but if it's priced at $50 I would say pass on it.
It feels weird on the source engine and should be first person like postal 2 and hell the options menu is like every source game like TF2, HL2 and CS which makes it feel like a mod plus it's annoying to hear the ragdoll sound effect when you kill someone and hear all those stock sounds which constantly reminds you your on source.
I can't say anything about the story because all the voice is in russian and I can't find a way to put on subtitles but the game continues right off after the expansion pack for postal 2 as you are on the bridge with the army soldiers and zombies trying to get back to the city.
The Gore is nice as it is a postal game so I would expect that and the game feels fine when your playing it but it just has this weird feeling to it but right now I'm trying to find Krotchy but I have searched everything and I can't find him so I can't continue with the game right now since it's frustrating since there is no map. Overall right now I would say pass on it until it becomes cheaper but I'm going to continue playing later and I'll write about it again after I'm done the game and can find the damn button for subtitles.

The gameplay feels pretty good, it's awesome when you cut someone in half with a machete or mow down people with the LMG or the Assaut Rifle, it's very satisfying and driving vehicles (well the only thing I have driven so far is a segaway) is fun as well and doing the missions where you are shooting people while on the segaway are really fun.
It gets pretty chaotic in the game with full out battles between people and its fun, from what i have seen the gameplay is great. Combine that with the fun missions I mentioned above and you have a pretty good game. But it still doesn't feel like a $50 game to me so far but like I said that might change when I'm actually done the game.
I'll just wait for a fantastic steam sale in the future.
From what you've described, it seems more like it's worth a mere 35 USD or so.
