Holy motherfucker, you must have the thumbs of a god. I couldn't, for the life of me, play any game in the Race series with a 360 controller. I KNOW the G25 is outdated and all that jazz, but it's still my trusty sidekick in most racing sims.
g25 isn't really outdated
but yeah, driving in any of the RACE series games or GTR2 is pretty hard with the linearity of a controller stick.

Yeah but you know, people going, "OMG FANATECH WHEELS ARE THE SHIZ" and I personally really like the build quality of Logitech's G series. Just wish the wheel was a bit bigger.

The G25 is [b]not[/b] outdated, it's practically the same gubbins except a slightly different drive motor, the shift LED's, and more buttons. It also has sequential stick shift which the G27 doesn't. I own both a G25 and a G27 and they're both on par with each other, don't waste your money.

Yes they did, but only to keep their production costs down. It doesn't mean everyone who bought G25's needs to go out and buy a G27 before it goes end of line, and as I said, they're both practically identical (if anything, if you don't want more wheel buttons the G25 is better).

Fanatec's wheels are too fucking expensive
i mean, if you're one of those "pro sim racers" who competes for money yeah sure go and buy it, but all of those $400+ wheels are crazy when i get tons of enjoyment from my DFGT

the cheaper logitech force feedback wheels like the gran turismo one are great anyway
the thing you're buying with the g25/27 is the clutch and manual gearbox which i guess is cool and all but it's overly cumbersome if you don't have room to place it in a good spot
