I'll post some shots of the original Assassin's Creed later, but while I'm playing without fraps right now I just realized how much detail there is to Altair's animations. The 3 slots for throwing knives actually fill depending on how many knives you have, and the number of knives on him is actually consistent with knife count. Also, there are 3 different throwing animations, one for each knife slot, and they'll switch depending on which one he has to use because the others are empty. I gotta say that I'm immensely impressed by that.

I know exactly what you're dealing with and yes IMGur converts to jpg to save bandwidth. It's annoying, even if you upload 100% quality jpegs it will shit on them.
So what site should I use to preserve proper quality?
Dropbox or steam cloud is what I would recommend (if you can get the steam overlay to work with it).
Steam screenshots are also compressed horribly, use dropbox
