re-bought Republic Commando on steam. Damn have not played this since the year it came out. If anyone is having trouble with the game crashing when trying to Start a new game, set Bump mapping to Low, that will fix it. Also turn vsync on or the game will move very fast.

I know this is late but don't be a moron and spread wrong information, yes they did say that there were people who had shit computers who complained about running max but also at the same time they perfectly acknowledged that there were performance issues with high end PCs that should of been able to run the game perfectly fine maxed out. They couldn't figure out the problem before and they even offered to pay shipping to get a computer who had this problem and solve it.
Some of the stuff they removed was barely noticeable like the bricks on Pavlov's House, don't be dumb.
