The thing that gives me a headache in BF3 is Inconsistent Mouse Sensitivity which seems to change with my framerate. Can Aim really easily one minute, but then the next it acts like Vsync was switched on with 32x AA

Disable the in game post anti aliasing, for me it made everything blend together and I couldn't make out enemies from bushes in some cases. And there are options for FoV, mine's at 80.

Well I actually managed to land, and get repairs (took forever). I actually did the above, dumped everything, flew around a bit, and landed at like 80 knots (thats like below takeoff speed)
But all that damage is from around 8-12 AA missiles. It literally got to the point where I was using the enemy's missile contrails to find out where they were and kill them. By time I was done all my instruments were completely broken and I even got the purple heart.

Well if you like flight sims, its something you must have.
I acted as a top gunner on a B17 "Flying Fortress" in a custom mission where we flew and met a bunch of German interceptors. All ended well. The picture really reminds me of the intro video of BF1942. :dance:

its fun, but holy shit is it complicated, by far the most truly realistic flight sim I've played.
