Metro 2033
I've played trough that game 3 times now, and I've yet to find the speargun :smith:
So I bought a $150 racing wheel from Logitech ($183 with Shipping) and it should be here around next Wednesday. I'll probably post a couple of videos just getting used to it so you can all see how terrible I probably am with a Racing Wheel. Totally worth the price though. 900 degree rotation and Force Feedback.
Speaking of Metro 2033, I absolutely love this track

and this one

I'd post a few more tracks but these two alone are quite stretchy

NFS Shift Unleashed 2, Mitsubishi Evo, Nurburgring. It feels great on a wheel... It's practically the only car in that game that behaves correctly anyway
how much does a PS3 and GT5 cost in the UK?
I have a 360 I could trade in if that helps towards the price :zoid:
Why don't you just get Forza 3? It's basically the 360s version of GT

I will definitely have to give that a try.
I may also buy RFactor and possibly Live For Speed 2.

Out of all racing games I have played LFS feels most natural on wheel
I've played trough that game 3 times now, and I've yet to find the speargun :smith:
You can find one along the sneaking path in the "War" chapter.
Speaking of Metro 2033, I absolutely love this track
The music is quality and adds so much to the atmosphere, it's one of my top 5 game soundtracks.
And I prefer the Volt driver better than the spear gun.
The only things that bum me out about Metro is that the default Fov is 45 (I'm the kind of person that usually leaves that stuff alone but 45 is crazy) and the movement feels a bit hokey.
Edit:
You can change the fov with some user.cfg editing though.

W.O.W. is pretty fun. Also, why is it in Steam screenshots that everything looks extremely jagged but in game it looks fine.
it's the rival to gt and in my opinion, way better, it has 1/3 the cars but 10x the realism and customization
Definitely more customization. The car thing is a little out of whack; like, isn't it only a third of the cars in GT5 are the Premium type? There's also the dozens of cars that are tiny variants, like the FORTY versions of the Skyline.
I think GT5 is more realistic if you ignore the bad damage physics in the game; Forza 3 has like, no body roll at all except in the huge SUVs and pre-1960s cars.

I can't drive.
The game is Grid.
That video is like if Socially Awkward Penguin was manifested into a car.
I feel like I should mention I'm using a keyboard.
I feel like I should mention I'm using a keyboard.
Maybe. I've learned that some racing games feel good with a keyboard (DiRT 3, for example, works great with a keyboard) Others, however, do not work so well. Like Live For Speed 2 was really hard to handle with a Keyboard.
Oh shit, pageking.
Have this blurry STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl screenshot.

Less snipers than Bad Company 2 has ever had.
You know what was great about Red Orchestra? One sniper for each team only.
I feel like I should mention I'm using a keyboard.
haha, that's exactly how i drive in grid no matter what. the game is SO WEIRD even if i'm using a boss-as-fuck wheel... unless i'm genuinely that bad at driving
Trying to watch Youtube videos while you are uploading 2 others is generally not going to go over well.
God, Forsaken World is such a terrible game.

In case you are wondering, I am the quiet one.
