I know it's a pain in the ass to get working and everything, but I don't see the REAL problem with GFWL. It's not like it's getting in the way and as long as you aren't doing a lot of mobile gaming without an internet connection it's fine.
Plus, you get to talk to all of your dumbfuck friends playing MW2 on Xbox Live.

I have it in windowed mode. My monitor's native res in 1920x1080
Honestly doesn't look that bad to me, I'm used to running in 1024x768 because I run GMOD at that res so I can talk on MSN while playing.

I almost never play my games in fullscreen at the native resolution (1680x1050), I prefer windowed at 1400x900 since it lets me browse the internet easily and see who is talking on teamspeak.

Oh my GOD. Dirt 3 is such an amazing port, I am able to run it on maximum settings that it allows me (all high/ultra, with post-processes medium) at an average of 30 fps, on an AMD Athlon 7450 x2 processor 2.4ghz, GTS 250, and 4 gig of RAM. My computer isn't the most powerful, but I am amazed.
Now, being as the youtube uploader in the game only allows certain length clips (or am I missing something?), and I can't miss an opportunity to post Dirt 3 gifs/vids (even though enough are posted already), is buying FRAPS a one time payment? Are there any other video recording alternatives that work as good?
