And the SDK will be released at some point, so expect shitloads of mods.
I wonder if someone could make a copy of Paradise... Too big for source?

And I think this is an amusing game. Pretty linear though.
Too bad it's made by incrediby shit russian developers.

(Akella)
It was made by Trashmaster Studio, a part of Akella company.

They're charging $40 for this? PHAAHAHA
Good thing Paypal doesn't follow $=€, and the game cost 32€.
I played the evil path through, starting the good path atm.
I hope they still have the line "Does my voice annoy you?"
Cause its fitting
Next patch involves Free roam!
Am I the only person that has been waiting excitedly for this ever since I finished postal 2?
But now that it isn't integrated with steam it can fuck right off.
I honestly don't mind the thirdperson or choppy animations or anything. As long as you can dismember, burn, and piss on people I am perfectly fine with it
Well the Dude's voice isn't that great but it isn't so terrible

Akella is a publisher not a developer
Akella is a publisher not a developer
Akella also helped develop it along with another studio (I think but officially it should just be Akella). RWS outsourced to them.
Next patch involves Free roam!
When is that supposed to be?
When is that supposed to be?
RWS has no idea, the russian version is already out.
Hope there is a proper first person mode implemented some how, mods or whatever. Just prefer it in first person.

It isn't the same guy as in postal 2 because they couldn't find him.
He literally disappeared of the face of the earth, so they had to get a new voice actor.
Damn, guess he died or something.
Sucks, because he had the best goddamned voice ever.
Anyway, from what i have heard there is one major reason to buy Postal 3.
You can kill Uwe Boll.
Akella also helped develop it along with another studio (I think but officially it should just be Akella).
Akella only acted as a publisher in this case. The game was developed primarily by Trashmasters with heavy overseas direction by the few remaining Running With Scissors team members. However, Running With Scissors handled all of the English voice acting.

Somebody made a first person mod for Just Cause 2, they said it was a lot of work, so who knows if we will get one or not.

Actually, according to a RWS staff member, they are waiting on Akella for the english version of the patch
That is footage from the retail game, but it should be noted that's the initial Russian release with shoddy Russian dubbing. A rather extensive patch was released soon after and that's what the rest of the world received on the 22nd along with the proper English dub. Also, the guy playing is some Hungarian dude who clearly cannot read Russian, hence why he seems to be going well out of his way to not do what the on-screen tips explicitly tell him. You even see him skipping the cut scene that shows Ron Jeremy's porn shop being invaded by hockey moms, so he doesn't known what to do and just sits upstairs cluelessly firing soiled rags at masturbating men. Also also, while not particularly relevant, that guy is obviously playing a pirated copy of the game as his whole channel is blatantly dedicated to playing warez. All in all, that video is not a very good or fair representation of the game.
Not to toot my own horn, but I happened to record my own marginally less clueless gameplay video that isn't from the very beginning tutorial mission:

There's no free roaming in the sense that there's an open hub world where you travel to each of your missions a la Postal 2. However, I think most people are forgetting the fact that, while the hub in Postal 2 was free roam, many of the actual missions/chores themselves were self-contained linear levels. Postal 3 can be seen as a continuous series of those types of missions, sharing a lot in common with Postal 2's expansion Apocalypse Weekend.
However, just because there's no free roam doesn't mean Postal 3 doesn't offer freedom. There are two branching paths in the game, good and evil. You are never bound to any one path as your a your actions in the current level determine where you're headed next. There are unique maps, characters, battles, and outcomes in each, so you'll definitely have to play through the game more than once to experience everything (unless you manage some completely bipolar good/evil progression, which is a Steam achievement!). That's a heck of a lot of content to explore through.
Chiding Postal 3 for a lack of true free roam is a valid criticism, but free roam by itself is not the be all, end all of a fun Postal game.
Oh the nostalgia of default source engine noises
Went to go buy it on the site and it was out of stock.
Piss.
I was aching for some mayhem here! after playing Saints Row 3 for such a long time all I want to do now is just fuck stuff up.
Heavily tempted to buy this, but at the same time I want to wait until all of the sales are over.
how can you be heavily tempted to buy this
it's a crappy source mod that is going to be bashed by both critics AND us
you should play GTAIV or SR3 and get a better experience (they're both great, and gtaiv is cheap now, and it's my favorite game of all time)
you could buy postal III, which is clunky and you can't even buy the freaking game normally, along with its source (already exhausted) and ultimately only a 2 day game (you'd get bored because it sucks)
anyone who insists on buying this game over those two, assuming they don't own them, must be full of reluctance to admit that they're blindly defending it for whatever reason, i cannot fathom how this game would be anywhere near the quality of what you could get your hands on right now.
mostly because this game is $40 when it deserves to be $5, for what it is.

A very unbiased post, if I ever saw one.
Well my opinion is it wasn't THAT bad.
I enjoyed it, and will torture more people once they release the new patch.
So I bought a key code and received it last night, after waiting a day for the game to finish downloading it doesn't work. As soon as I started it up, it gives me an error about "icudt42.dll" then starts up and crashes. I've tried replacing it,deleting, etc, and now it starts only to crash without any errors
Edit
Whew, just had to defrag my files and it works fine now

well, maybe it's opinionated but it's still difficult to understand how anyone could justify buying this when there's objectively better games on the market
SR3 isn't buggy, is purchasable from steam, was cheaper during the holiday sale, and is unarguably more polished. None of that is opinion. So seriously, why the fuck does this game even exist? And more confusingly, why do people actually want to buy it?
But you can't piss on People in Saints Road 3
But you can't piss on People in Saints Road 3
I own both Sr3 and Postal 3, do I get a trophy?

Why can't you just let people buy whatever game they want?
Why can't you just let people buy whatever game they want?
well they can, i certainly wouldn't stop them
i'm just curious as to why
