So after I turned on [sp]the super pylon, I heard sokolov scream and saw that he had fallen 2 inches off the platform onto the roof of pieros workshop, dead. After that Piero ran into the level geometry and now I have like 10000 coins and no shop before the final level.[/sp]
wtf game
Not really sure these count as spoilers but what the hell I'll be safe
Finished the slaughterhouse, although I kind of goofed at the start, shot a crossbow bolt at an enemy which stuck him to the wall and while I went over to turn off the arc pylon it said I needed a key, then I realized "oh shit he has the key". What was the problem here? He was right by the arc pylon, which if I got next to would electrocute my ass. Thankfully I eventually got it with Daud's blink which basically stops time when you're getting ready to aim it which was a godsend, only took a few tries
Gonna do a run with this 'extreme difficulty' mod.
Well I got the good ending. [sp] kind of dissapointed it was basically a 'everything is great you won and everyone is happy' ending, you'd think after how dark the game was there'd be some bad stuff even in the good ending.[/sp]
Well everyone still died from plague, but no one gives a crap about them because [sp]the Empress is ok.[/sp]
Just beat the game in 5 hours surprised it was short, but overall pleased with the game the settings is what got me hooked one the most.
I've been using "dishonored unleashed - dismemberment mod". If I want to distract someone, I just throw the disembodied head of the previous guard I killed at them. Gets 'em every time. I really do enjoy the game, but the textures... Ugh. I know it's supposed to be watercolor and all that but in a painting the brush strokes aren't pixellated.

And this, right outside the hound pits.
The game does look pretty good from a distance though.

Helps if you have sweetFX and antialiasing up the wazoo via nvidia inspector though.
Got Dishonored, The Knife Of Dunwall, the preorder bonuses and Dunwall City Trials yesterday. I am loving it.
Anyone know what the 1GB update was for?

I got an update too. I also wonder what it was.
Looks like bugfixes/prep for the new DLC

Seems they may have fixed that annoying problem with the music box npcs - they would block your view when you carried them.
Brigmore Witches comes out today, yaaaay.
This new DLC is beautiful

So, does anyone know if the ending to the DLC depends on your main story saves, or just your chaos rating?
Both I think, certainly it reflected my choices in the previous DLC and the main game, though not quite in the same manner
Wait, it's out?
So I just finished Brigmore Witches. It's still pretty short like The Knife of Dunwall, was expecting it to be a little bit longer but it was still pretty good for a DLC.
also, does anyone know how to [sp]get rid of Delilah non lethally? I honestly could not figure it out at all.[/sp]
I'll get the DLC eventually, right now I'm busy with Fallout: New Vegas. So it's 3 missions again?
I think I'm going to play through the game again before playing this DLC, so it'll reflect my actual choices rather than my pacifist playthrough (or whatever was the last thing I did). I wanted to play the game again anyway.
I really shocked that Billie Lurk [sp]was black.[/sp] I felt like the cast of It's Always Sunny in the episode when they broke into that house to steal the artifact
Help with latest DLC.
Trying to [sp]produce antidote for the gas that is released after the old man dies, got all 3 ingredients, when I go to mixer it says "missing a vial" or something[/sp] What to do?

[sp]Just pick up one of the empty potion vials that are lying about the place and poke it at the front of the machine under the valve[/sp]

[sp]There's an alternative painting around the back of the area - grab it and replace the painting whilst she's mouthing off around her ritual stone[/sp]
I think my biggest issue with the DLC is that you don't really know the plot until the last minute. I spent most of Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches wondering why the hell I was still running back and forth across the map when I don't even know what big evil plot I'm trying to stop. Yeah, I know it's supposed to be a mystery, but they could have at least dropped a few more breadcrumbs along the way to keep me interested.
They did, but they dropped so few, and the ones they did drop were unbelievably subtle no-one noticed. I actually went back and played Knife of Dunwall before my second playthrough because I wanted one where I didn't blow up the slaughterhouse, and lo and behold, I counted about 4 plot references that I originally missed because they were too bloody subtle
Okay, also a big thing that's bothering me is this weird stutter I keep getting sometimes. I have no idea what could be causing it. It doesn't happen constantly, it just occurs at seemingly random intervals, and that's just really confusing.
Playing through the new DLC right now. I'm glad they allowed you to import your previous progress. It's starting to be funny how the Knife of Dunwall hasn't killed anyone since the Empress.
It's funny how no-kill runs are hard not because I feel the urge to kill, but because I accidentally leave unconscious guys in places where they die later. And frankly, that really pisses me off.
goddamn you father for not allowing me to pay via the internet, thus I cant get the dlc
The first mission was pretty easy, second was mostly about story with a fight that can be tricky to handle during ghost and non-lethal run. Last mission introduces interesting new guards and delivers pretty cool ending but it's true Daud's motivation should have been explored more.
