You gotta have a Leman Russ in a 500 pts list.
Click on tvtropes, first trope: "Chaos has already won" My avatar accurately portrays how I feel about this.
Click on tvtropes, first trope: "Chaos has already won" My avatar accurately portrays how I feel about this.
No, Orks have already won.
No, Orks have already won.
I play Orks too. My avatar is still relevant. Also for those FPers that do not et WHY orks have won. It has been confirmed that Orks have the perfect society. They have no stress and thus cannot be corrupted by chaos. They can still dedicate themselves to Chaos though because they might like scrappin' (particularly with the Khorne boys). So yeah perfect society, there's no doubts to who will lead them (the biggest and the strongest) and if there IS a coup/bid for power they have to kill the Warboss, by any means necessary--nothing is considered unfair because if the Warboss was the most cunnin' 'e would've been cunnin' enough ta not get krumpt y'see? Their economy is based on teef which every ork has access to, they rot quickly and grow quickly so it's not like you can stockpile teef for too long (some boyz might save up together to get a trukk) and there's no inflation (because teef rot). The closest thing they have to an imbalanced economy are the yellow sunz orkz whose teef grow faster than any other ork. This isn't considered unfair because you can just punch them in the face and take their teef if you don't like it. I know that most of you already know how great orkz are, but this post is for those who do not yet know how fantastic a right good WAAAGH is.

The better you do, the higher the rise.
Orks won't dedicate themselves to chaos, stop talking bullshit.
Orks won't dedicate themselves to chaos, stop talking bullshit.
Some ork gangs dedicate themselves to Khorne because it's right hilarious going about butchering and maiming. Mindless violence is right orky.
Orks won't dedicate themselves to chaos, stop talking bullshit.
Several of them have, some of them without even realising it.
Also hard work is rewarded proportionately. The better you do, the higher the rise.
Or in some cases, the more you accidently/luckily survive something stupid the higher you rise :v
Also hard work is rewarded proportionately. The better you do, the higher the rise.
And unlike in a Randian utopia it's entirely alright because Orks are too stupid to cheat their way to the top.

Also, if an Ork loses an limb, spit and tape fixes it.
Damn, I got paired with the Store Champion. My army got systematically smashed by his Dark Angels, my right flank didn't have any AT and my LR failed to get any penetrating hits on the opposing LR Crusader, the Sternguard got smashed because their Melta's were an inch out of 2D6 range and my Assault Squad had a hard time killing some Termies that threatened my Tactical squad on the right flank. Eventually they managed it and went off to kill a bunch of scouts, but I couldn't finish them off. The Bikes got annihilated before they did anything by the DA Land Raider and the Vindicator missed every shot. All in all, I had a lot of bad luck and a load of tactical mistakes. I should of put my Sternguard and the Bikes closer to the enemy LR and put my Vindicator on the right flank to give it a bigger firing angle. The Tactical on the right flank should of had a Power Fist or Combi Melta and the Scouts proved all but worthless yet again, as the only recognizable kill they had was one rending insta-death on a Termie by Telion. If I ever take Scouts again I will make sure I only take one sniper, as Telion more than repaid his points cost in terms of wounds and the Termie kill. If I take Bikes again Ill make sure they get Melta's. Ive kind of lost my confidence with Chaplains too, as my JP Chap was killed with just one Thunder Hammer attack in the first turn of combat. It seems like all experienced Space Marine players do is take 2 cheap Scout squads and as many buffed Termies as possible. I bought Ghazzkul Thraka though with some gift vouchers I got for Christmas. No mucking about next week. 6 Insta Death attacks at Strength 10, Toughness 5, 4 wounds, 2+ invulnerable save. Where is your Emperor now Space Marines.
Alright, I've messed with the list. CCS- Plasma pistol Standard Autocannon PCS1- Bolt pistol Standard Commissar IS1- Grenade launcher IS2- Grenade launcher PCS Bolt pistol Standard IS3- Grenade launcher IS4- Grenade launcher Heavy weapons squad- Heavy bolters Also, can a squad be given more than 1 order during a turn? Like from a CCS then a PCS?

I like the "Orkz realised that they have a psycic field" trope. It makes so much sense, explains everything!
Converting Inquisitors is so much fun. My Inquisitor uses an old Power Klaw, And he has a brazier and a psyber-eagle on his shoulders. Furthermore his retinue consists of a captured augumented Genestealer, an Armageddon Ork Hunter and a Robotic Dog amongst other things. Can't wait to paint them.
Fuck yes. Vampire Counts got updated. Which means GW's schedule is fast. Tau are coming like in a couple months IMO.
It is a Hydra. [editline]7th January 2012[/editline] I never heard about Yellow Sunz boys growing teef faster, source?
The codex itself says it, though it's not Yellow Sunz, the official clan name is "Bad Moonz".
captured augumented Genestealer
The ideas like this for some reason keep making me think about the possibility of Imperial-allied Genestealer cult, either due to AdMech experiments or due to that silly Gathalamor syndrome, accidentally fucking up the Genestealer's DNA augmentations. Imagine a Commissar riding into a battle on a Genestealer.
How do Orks produce? Are all Orks are woman with manly voice?

I was wondering one thing. Would you guys be interested if Games Workshop decided to make a F2P MMO, a digital adaptation of tabletop W40k if it worked exactly like tabletop, including you having to buy units for real money (a lot cheaper though, most likely)? I know most (all) of you would prefer not to have to buy units but if it was the case, would you play such a game?
Then it wouldn't be F2P, would it?
Then it wouldn't be F2P, would it?
There's a game called "Battleforge" that works in a similar way. It's F2P, meaning you don't have to buy the game itself but every player only gets a couple of units and if he wants more, he has to buy them for real money.
Several of them have, some of them without even realising it.
had :retcon:
Recently tried playing DOW2 again as I played it a little then left it alone. I'm interested in getting Retribution so I can play as the Imperial Guard, but it's still a full priced £30 and part of me tells me I should wait for it to get cheaper. Is it worth picking up? also, hearing one of my Spess Mahreens shout ALIEN BEANS during a firefight made me crack up. I know that's not what he said but I can't unhear it.

In Strategy games, you rarely feel attachment to your soldiers, as they aren't really unique.
