the fuck is going on with those pictures
i can't breath sufficiently through my mouth anymore
I MUST HAVE TUBES GOING STRAIGHT INTO MY NECK
That's how they are though. The legs are large enough to support the power armour, but the arms only need to hold the bolter.
What if they're using chainswords?
Spears: The second worst enemy of the Space Marines.

He's german.
But why in the fuck use a knife to open that box?
Teeth and hands are your friend when it comes to ripping plastic.
Just finished reading "Sabbath Worlds" a compendium of stories set in Gaunts Ghosts, really good especially "Iron Star" and "Regicide" and to cap that Salvations Reach is waiting for me when I get back home this weekend.
Finished reading The Lightning Tower on my phone.
Love it, too bad it's so short.
Gonna read The Dark King now, I think.
Have a picture of my Slaaneshi Daemon Prince (Greater Daemon?)
He's mostly Tyranid bitz, as well as some from WHFB.

Descent of Angels must be the weirdest and most interesting book in the HH, because of Caliban's forestal nature, where the humans live like medieval knights in massive castles, fight with chainswords and guns, use powered armor, and in siege warfare use trenches and ladders/siege towers/hooks/Explosives to blow shit up while advancing in a Testudo.
It makes no sense

In one of the Gaunt's Ghosts books the Tanith 1st are stationed on a world with WW1-era technology, they ride ostriches, have "Land Ships", and half of their artillery consists of (pretty-much) Slingshots and catapults that fling hand grenades.

there's things that make a lot less sense in 40k lore

Straight Silver if I recall correctly
I remember reading that. It was bloody bizarre.

not as bad as The Guns of Tanith... the energy fields and people vomiting maggots and falling in half... Also Cuu

It really makes you wonder where do they draw inspiration from to write these sort of things, it must be hilarious writing for the black library.
My £90 order from this discounted retailer finally arrived, fuck yeah.
Ive now got:
2 more bikes to make the meanest command squad ever
A Leman Russ Demolisher
Manticore/Deathstrike
3 Sentinels
I think I have enough for a 1000 pt IG army with the stuff Ive got already and this. I just need another Command Squad and another box of Guardsmen.
6e needs to come out now, if only so that I get a new chaos codex.
2x lash prince
4x obliterator
2x plague marines
Shit gets boring fast
10 + Nob
[editline]13th January 2012[/editline]
They used to be boxes of 20!
You sure the Nob isn't an upgrade to an Ork Boy?

That's your list? Change it if you're bored. The Prince doesn't need lashes to be viable.
You sure the Nob isn't an upgrade to an Ork Boy?
The box is supposed to come with 10 boyz and 1 nob and yes the nob IS an upgrade.
In any case I sent customer support an email, two bases are being mailed to me.

I'm not bored of winning so I do not think I would try an un-optimized list.
Especially since lash is so ridiculously strong.
In any case I hope that thousand sons will be viable in 6e
It does look quite a bit more original than the end product, but it also looks slightly unfaithful.
Though it's also a lot prettier with the whole "brown brown brown HOLY FUCK I LOVE BROWN" thing going on, which is odd because that's normally a pitfall of most games these days.
The moment they showed the extended better quality looking video the whole thing fell apart. The animations were terrible and the major issue was the the entire combat was incredibly awkward. It didn't really flow.
Props to relic that they actually managed to do that pretty well. As the meelee in space marine is fairly fluid and consistent. Not the same kind of disconnected flailing.

I just want my Plagueys to be a bit tougher. Yes. Even tougher. Rawr.
Space Marines would look awesome if they were all like this:

'Taste the glory of imperial literature, Xenos!'
With the way the book starts as soon as the pauldron ends, it almost looks like he has a flipper.

The last Ork Boyz box came with 16, and gave you the option to make either Shoota Boyz or Slugga Boyz, and that was it.
Still reading through the 6e (just saw that it was). What exactly are the big changes? I noticed move value and squad leaders.

You still get shoota or slugga but they're cutting it down to 10 bases and 10 boyz, because otherwise you'd get nobz for free sort of

I meant more like you didn't have any Big Shoota/Rokkit Launcha accessories at all in the old box, you used to have to buy metal gubbinz to make your own.

So instead of getting less boyz and a pile of useless rocket launchers, I got more boyz and had to buy a few metal gubbins?
Yeah I am aware.
