I tought you'd appreciate the technical aspect on this one, with thin paints and all
2009.
oldie but goldie.
In the next Space Marine codex (you know they'll make one), they should have Gabriel Angelos as a special character. I dunno what the army-wide ability would be, perhaps Librarians in place of Seargents?

He needs a big honking hammer to beat the shit out of daemons. Preferred enemy against the forces of chaos? A real melee monster.

ability: bitchin' hair
BROTHAA I AM PINNED HERE

BRUVA I AM HIT
We all know that really Gabriel Angelos' ability would be to shout "COMMANDUH" at the top of his lungs, and summon in a very pissed off Commander who proceeds to do all the work while Gabriel sits back and laughs.

kleptomania is a defect in the blood angels' geneseed
You mean Blood Ravens?
yes
You mean Blood Ravens?
Nope, Ultramarines are pansies. The blue of their armour looks too light to me so I made it darker in an experiment with Regal Blue, and it looked so good I thought I would do an entire chapter with it. Then I decided to make it a completely different chapter altogether, and named them Omega
Lords.
The Chapter Icon is the Omega Symbol in Scab Red, which you can see on the side of this Razorback:

And heres an old picture from a battle report I did ages ago.

I HAVE THE EXACT SAME MUG AS YOU
I did a practice game today with my IG army in the making up against an Ghazkull Ork army with about 60-70 boys and 5 powerklaw Nobz.
Notes:
Manticore freaking rocks with D3 pie-plates of death.
Standard Valkrie does not work as a gun platform.
Guardsmen aren't that bad at shooting, despite the fact that 4+ to hit and 5+ to wound T4 plus no AP seems very unattractive.
Ghazkull once again proved himself to a mean bastard, wiping out the last members of a squad of Guardsmen, a Heavy Weapons team and a Leman Russ Punisher. In a single turn.
On that note, Leman Russ punisher's with Pask are very good.

Executioner is one of the best, but Vanilla Russ is THE only Russ you'll need. PS: Use Vendettas

Manticores are so... D:<
"Zoggit! Where'd all me boyz git too, dey was just dere!"
"Uh boss... I fink da 'umies might 'uv blown 'dem all up"
Fucking manticores.
they are, the models I bought used had thick-ass glossy black spray primer on them. I have proven myself to be an okay painter.
Nothing I can do would ruin those models any further, anyway.
but if I hear anything about thinning fucking paints again, I'm gonna come over there and force you to eat your fucking army with your ass.
When receiving models covered in shitty paint, the answer is: Strip dat shit.
Fucking manticores.
Deathstrikes are better. Launch missile and then start flaming down every melee unit that tried to get to it, to stop the launch.

Deathstrike's capacity to even fire at all is up to the luck of the dice gods.

Well, considering that you get cumulative +1 every turn (and unless your enemy is wasting all his artillery for it, you don't get damaged/shaken), you can kinda launch it immediately.

IT ISH THE STORMTROOPAHS
IT ISH THE STORMTROOPAHS
Storm troopers used to be sweet metal models, now their stats are kind of underwhelming.
But on the up side manticores.

That and it always launches on a 6, despite negative modifiers. Get to turn two and roll a 6 man.
Basilisks are cooler

I was just making fun of Diomedes and his terrible emphasis on the danger of Stormtroopers.
Chaos Space Marines, Aspect Warriors, Tyranid Bio-monsters, Warp Daemons and heavily armored Leman Russes but Emperor forbid STORMTROOPERS.

BAAAAAAINBLAAAAAAAED!
I just plain prefer the style of the old stormtroopers.
It is the BAHTLLEFORTRHESS.
Every Dawn of War game's final expansion needs a terribly acted Force Commander.

Bad voice acting has been a gift in the Blood Raven gene-seed for many millenia.
