I got something on that, an all ladies Air-drop based military, specialised in flame weaponry. All the troops were drawn from nobility, and fought viciously for the Emperor.
Sounds like SoB. Minus the air-drop.
I really like this song, apparently the guy who made it strung it to Gaunt's Ghosts, which is cool.
Can someone explain exactly what makes Kaldor Draigo so bad? I know he's in the Warp but that's all i know really, other than carving his name into some sort of Daemon.
He's basically running around in all of the Chaos gods' domains, and somehow still... existing.
Can someone explain exactly what makes Kaldor Draigo so bad? I know he's in the Warp but that's all i know really, other than carving his name into some sort of Daemon.
He's a gigantic Mary Sue designed by Matt Ward to plunge Grey Knights further into the depths of retardation and because he wasn't allowed to resurrect Robert Guilleman. Draigo's currently chilling in the warp, fighting just about everything and not only is he not dying, he's actually doing alright. Despite coming from a chapter that's meant to revile everything daemonic he happily wields a daemon blade (despite the fact that a Space Marine Primarch managed to get corrupted doing just that, let alone in the warp). He's also smashed the City of Tzeentch, burned Nurgle's Garden, killed a bloodthirster with hardly any weaponry and killing 6 of Slaanesh's chosen, depite the fact even looking at one is supposed to bring virtually any mortal to their knees. I think he's slightly overpowered.
Sounds like SoB. Minus the air-drop.
Yep, kickin' rad. I like the Newcrons, don't really care for his Girlyman love, but that doesn't effect me so I can ignore it. But...the Gardens of Nurgle :'(
Fells more like a Tanith Battle March
Ugh, that would have been a lot better without the lyrics.
Here's the chart
I have a homing sword made by the Inquisition. It shoots psychic beams and is lightweight. It is possessed but is cursed. It is a Pre-Heresy weapon. [editline]25th January 2012[/editline] so pretty much a cursed possessed psychic version of Gaunt's power sword
I wish LOTR's minatures were the same scale as Warhammer stuff and not so pre built, again like Warhammer figures. I think it would of boosted the sales a bit more if they did that, opens up much more conversion possibilities.

I hate how one of the looter heads has a gay ponytail out the top of his head, also the hair can't go through the roll cage. Fuck that shit, going to demote this hippie ork to a slugga boy and promote a slugga boy with a cool hat to loota.
Thats not a ponytail, it's a hair squig.

And then I was listening to Bolt Thrower for the rest of the night. Good music. Also, the Ciaphas Cain omnibuses were a great investment.
And then I was listening to Bolt Thrower for the rest of the night. Good music. Also, the Ciaphas Cain omnibuses were a great investment.
Which story are you on now? Or did you finish them all?
Which story are you on now? Or did you finish them all?
At about chapter 12 of For The Emperor. I only really read it for an hour a day (study hall) and whenever I have downtime in school (read:never)
At about chapter 12 of For The Emperor. I only really read it for an hour a day (study hall) and whenever I have downtime in school (read:never)
I have to admit, despite liking all the Cain books I've read, For the Emperor is probably my favourite Cain novel, as opposed to the short stories. My favourite short story is probably Fight or Flight.
Cains an amazing character. He's a man with self esteem problems, yet is on par with a space marine with how big his balls are. Like seriously. Who else could organize some shitty PDF units and fuck over some orks?

[editline]25th January 2012[/editline] Also I'm going to be making a LOTR force, been hyped on LOTR the passed month or so now. I'm thinking: Gondor Osgiliath veterans (do a lot of converting work on them) Morannon Orcs Army of the Dead Which should I go for? [editline]25th January 2012[/editline] These guys are cool too:

I think he's slightly overpowered.
There is another way to look at it. We know that nothing can survive in the warp unless it is using some sort of technology, or is infused with the power of chaos. As Draigo is clearly not corrupt, and certainly isn't carrying around a Geller Field generator, it can't be either of those reasons. But, the warp has not set form - it constantly changes and can shape itself to match the vision of what someone thinks it will look like or what they want to see - for example, Astropaths. As a Grey Knight is made to fight chaos and deamons, this is what they want to do. This means that it is possible that Draigo is not actually fighting Daemons and going round carving names into them, he just thinks he is, and is being tricked by one of the Chaos Gods. He gets to do what he wants, and it doesn't have any effect on anything of importance. He has not actually done anything to damage the God's realms, they are all just a figment of his imagination.
This dreadnought dlc seems OP like hell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6g6QdTeJFs
Last night I finished reading Descent of Angels and I can only repeat what I already said. What the hell. [sp]If they succesfully beat the cabalists and the demon, why did the Lion order some of them to go back to Caliban and why's the Lion so cold? What happened to Luther?[/sp] Am I supposed to find out in another book or is everything between lines? I was really drowsy at the time of finishing it, but regardless it feels like a rushed ending. Plus, what place does it have in the HH series? Good news is, now that I've finished Descent of Angels, the last paper book I got, now I can finally use my Kindle!
This dreadnought dlc seems OP like hell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6g6QdTeJFs
Like I posted in a comment: "I predict a $20 Land Raider DLC in the future". :v: It's like Space Marines in table-top: Noone would play it if it weren't the epitome of "No, fuck YOU!".
[editline]25th January 2012[/editline] Fallen Angels is the sequel to it.
It's not even the next one, dicks, but gotta deal with it, cheers for clearing it up mate
Space Marine multiplayer actually looks a lot more interesting now with a walker put in, hope they might consider vehicles. Also I bought some army of the dead but these models are HUGE, they're just as big as Warhammer models. [editline]25th January 2012[/editline] I think I'm going to use them as wights for my vampire count army.
I hate the LOTR range for 2 reasons: 1)They are depressingly hard to get right and at that they are boring 2)Almost zero options for conversion.
So I finished Prospero Burns earlier and I was surprised with the fairly bleak ending.
So I finished Prospero Burns earlier and I was surprised with the fairly bleak ending.
Not read the book, but...The title happened, not much McNiel can do to change that.
