To be fair apart from all the little details it's not like you can really avoid spoilers when talking about it given that it's the backstory to the entire games backstory so to speak.
Has anyone ever had this "bug" on DoW1, on the mission where you start with Whirlwinds and Assault Marines, and have to destroy the small ork camp to build your own base I cannot for the life of me get the Whirlwinds to fire.
They do nothing but sputter around and make Whirlwind noises.

Are you sure they weren't still set to hold fire?

Also I'm going to be making a LOTR force, been hyped on LOTR the passed month or so now.
I'm thinking:

But they only have swords and bows. The Space Marines have Land Raiders, missiles and Bolters. They'd be slaughtered. It'd be a massacre.
Any of you chaps like FB?
So I just finished the Ravenor Omnibus.
That.
Was.
Amazing.
But just like I did with The Lost, I didn't realize there were preceding Omnibus' before it, so I completely spoiled the Eisenhorn Omnibus. Oh well, my birthday is around the corner, so I can pick up Eisenhorn, The Founding, The Saint, and maybe the first few Horus Heresy books.
Wow I...
I don't even know man...
My RT group.... wow....
...just... wow...

They are set to hold fire mode by default.
No matter how stupid that makes me feel, why would they do that?
Because otherwise they'd be shooting before you even gave them any command, I think.

Eisenhorn is infinitely superior to Ravenor in my opinion, Ravenor spread its focus too wide, on too many characters. Eisenhorn is just Eisenhorn.
Ive tried bikes in two matches this week, with both Space Marines and Ork Bikes. Space Marine bikes seem pretty naff and pale in comparison to Ork Bikes, with 3 Strength 5 Assault shots and 3-4 attacks on the charge.
Wazdakka looks seriously mean as well, with Power Klaw, Slugga, 4 Strength 8 Assault shots and the ability to still shoot even after turbo boosting 24''. 250 points for 10 T4/T5 Bikes with 3 shot Strength 5 Dakkaguns, a Slugga and 4 attacks on the charge each? yes please.

I, being the RT, ordered my crew to commit Grand Theft Box.

Space Marine dreadnought game play, woop woop.
imo would be better if it didn't have regenerating health, that way its not quite so much a instawin, I mean honestly, if you're on the opposing side, you may as well just quit and find another game.
does the dreadnaught copy the player's colour scheme or is it just ultramarine/chaos skin?
/tg/ is exited about new codex coming out for wh2012 iran.
I just hope they don't nerf the ATACM MSLR build.
My BT conversion pack comes tomorrow, time to make some metal marines.
Space Marines, as you all probably know, is 25 dollars on Gamer's Gate. http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-W40KSM/warhammer-40000-space-marine
Trying to get 2 copies Space Marines using a copy of Singularity, Serious Sam HD: 2nd Encounter, and The Ship. That's my 70 bucks for your 50 bucks. Anyone game?
So I have been thinking about getting the Imperial Aquila tatooed on my right shoulder for quite some time now. I'm not small and skinny so I think I can pull it off, and the friends of mine I have talked to so far have been pretty supportive.
Before taking the decision I of course had to ask the smart and knowledgable minds of Facepunch.
The tatoo will look like this:

So yes for being a cool nerd, or no for the risk of looking like a total right wing nutcase?
Why only get half tattoed on you, why not the hole thing?

Someone might confuse the two. However if you don't give a shit about that go for it, it's too obscure and doesn't look "weird" as a tatoo so you won't look like a complete nerd by having it either.

Hence why having the full thing would be better too, plenty of countries have double headed birds as their symbols.
I just noticed it's not simetrical and it's missing one eye,
THE OCD, IT BURNS

The bad spelling, it burns!
