Most people appear to not want to recommend blues. I have a black and a red switch keyboard but I MUCH prefer blacks, I can't physically stream over 220-230bpm with reds while I can do up to say 250 relatively comfortably on blacks. A lot of people say reds are better than blacks because their lighter, but imo they don't bounce back up fast enough. Cookiezi seems to do fine with reds though. tl;dr I have black and red switch kb's so I can't talk about blue/browns and I would recommend that you get black switches. I have a mekaG1 for my black switch KB and I'd highly recommend it. My red switch is quickfire rapid and it's too light for me.

Will probably buy one when I buy my new PC. ~100 eur is out of my budget atm. Thanks

I play on browns as of now, used reds before, but browns/blacks > reds any day. Pick any board you like from a reliable brand.
i use blues because the only mechanical numpad available in canada had blue switches and i sure as hell wasnt goin to buy a whole new keyboard for rhythm gaming they work very nicely

[editline]23rd August 2013[/editline] 280 with my other hand
I've just ranked my first SS on a hard song after four months and ~3,850 plays. This gave me enough pp to rank up to ~35k, but I still feel like my progress is way to slow. I can pass a lot of easy - middle difficulty insane maps, but simply can't FC them and thus never gain any points. :-( Also, sorry for the shitty video quality. I can't into video recording. :suicide:
Play maps that you can't pass easily, maps that take dozens of tries to get through once. Spam those maps as much as you can and your skill will go up like a rocket. [editline]23rd August 2013[/editline] That's how I learned Osu and that's how I learned taiko. In taiko I just played this http://osu.ppy.sh/b/152857 So much. 354 plays. But eventually I got it through and from that point on everything felt much easier and I could also pass the map more often.
i think my keyboard is rubber dome, but it's such an old keyboard i can't find any details on it anywhere on the web all I know is that it's a KWD-855, has a PS/2 connector, and has pretty decent feedback when I type. (i'm so cleaning this fucking thing out after pulling that key out and realizing what's under the keys. this entire keyboard is stained to hell with who knows what) as I said it's probably a dome-switch? It's good enough for osu!mania so it doesn't matter much to me.

Why is osu the game of nightcore and hatsune miku songs?
because weebs
Should I play them with NF turned on?
No.
woo I did it lol, didn't think you wouldnt be able to see shit at 60fps I'll have to redo this one
i don't think i will ever be able to read taiko maps, you guys have some kind of special power
woo I did it lol, didn't think you wouldnt be able to see shit at 60fps I'll have to redo this one
is that a replay error at 1:37? it looks like you miss 1 or 2 but you keep your combo
Eh it's just the video, I didn't think the sv would be too high for it to work locked at 60fps.
is that a replay error at 1:37? it looks like you miss 1 or 2 but you keep your combo
Nah looks fine to me, just a pretty sloppy play, barely caught it .<.
i haven't been able to connect to bancho at all for like the past week, what's happening :c it just keeps retrying connection constantly, it's kind of annoying
Been disconnecting quite frequently for the last two days and I'm still not sure if it's an issue on my end or if peppy is being a dofus like he always is.
Nah looks fine to me, just a pretty sloppy play, barely caught it .<.
weird, this totally looks like a miss to me, but i'm still terrible at taiko and don't know much about it:
well bancho is up, i just can't ever connect. i haven't successfully connected once in the past two or three days, purely offline.
Tried this recently, this game would be so much better if the community wasn't full of weabutts. The lack of old electronic and pop music on the official site is just spooky. And when you finally find something you like, the beatmap is poop. Also tags, your anime soundtrack is not classic english rock god damn it. Neither is Linkin Park
I think this is the issue with the scrolling speed and framerate of the video rather than the replay itself, the whole thing skips and stutters. I can send you the replay if you want to investigate it, I can't be arsed to do it myself .<.
I probably sound like a butt, but all I want is Elite Beat Agents PC :c shit my automerge
that's what osu is. and much more osu is comprised of mostly electronic music if you look, you just need to look beyond what has most lately been ranked

If anything I could probably just view your replay by downloading the beatmap and looking at the global rankings :v:
fucking hell the reason i couldn't connect was because that version was broken. manually updating fixed that
It's unranked actually http://osu.ppy.sh/s/104145 some stupid french baguettebutt is stealing my #1s :-(

Badly coded replay system I guess.
