This is something I have noticed before. My brain kinda goes into panic mode everytime a lot of hitcircles in 'weird' patterns appear. I don't really know how to describe those, but I mean the things at 0:38, 0:48 and 1:54 - ~2:00. It looks like I move away from the hitcircle before even arriving at it and thus missing it. I have no idea what I am doing. :v:
I guess I'll just spam this and some other maps like Orkel told me to until I can pass them and someday even FC them.

Different number of columns per song is ruining me though. The worst is definitely 7 columns though, my brain just shuts down and I get owned so fucking hard.
Maybe I'll just go play some more standard.

Yeah, anything above 4K is too much for me. I used to play Stepmania a lot, but I used the arrow keys instead of split like most people do.
I don't mind 6K but 5K/7K ruin me cuz the spacebar just feels wrong. I know I can rebind it but even so it's just off.
when i was first learning 7K i rebound it to [G/H] (for center, and center/alt-special).
but I found it was far more awkward using my left hand for [SDFG] and right hand for [JKL] than it was to have them split evenly between both hands and use spacebar whenever I needed a center key. So I just powered through and got used to using spacebar with my thumbs. So I eventually rebound it so G is center key, and spacebar is center/alt-special key. So I can hit either one if I want, although I always use spacebar now.
Although I find that 99% of the time I simply use my left thumb to hit the spacebar, as that's what i've almost always used while typing. I don't think i've ever hit the spacebar with my right thumb, now that I think about it.
The main problem I have is switching between modes, spacebar feels icky, but doing a 4K song then playing a 6K song then a 5K song just feels like I'm throwing up.

well that's because woc has the coloring for the keys all fucked up, and he won't let us change them.
seriously what's up with these inconsistent color schemes:

7K has white keys next to the center columm, but 5k has purple keys next to the center.
6K has white keys next to the center line, but 4k has purple keys next to the center.
7k has a yellow center key, but 5k has a white center key
8k has 3 different modes, and none of them make sense
fucking woc
that's the reason why my custom mania skin has a colored track background and a dividing line around the center column, otherwise i'll just get confused when I switch between modes.
