wasn't able to get all modes up and working + packaged this morning, so it'll be another ~9 hours before I upload anything. I usually only modify the 7k when i'm working on it :v:

in other news, based peppy finally enabled the ability to [b]disable all song beatmap skins and storyboards separately[/b] from the main options menu. No more having to delete terrible skins!

"osz" is "osu zip"
"osk" is "o skin"
"osz" should be "osm" or "osb", imo
or rather "oma" or "obe", for "o map" or "o beatmap"
or osk should be "oss" for "osu skin"

i mean I guess I can see "osu" for map, seeing as it was probably the first one he made and wanted to keep it simple so he used the name of the game. "osb" follows the same naming conventions as "osk" (only an "o" prefix), so it seems that "osz" is the only one that makes little sense. Although they all have "os" at the beginning of their extensions, which may or may not be a coincidence.
"osb" for "Osu StoryBoard",
"osz" should be "obm", for "Osu BeatMap". Or "opk" for "Osu PacKage"
on second thought, "osz" should be "ppy", because why not

i was chilling out in #osumania when people started sharing songs they were working on. Ishimaru94 posted some haruhi song or whatever, and after trying it out I wanted to try to beat it (as it was just above my skill level)
After about 15 retries of getting near the end, I finally got this far:

so the many sections that have 7 notes at once kill my combo and drain my health
at least it's still passable (theoretically)
I still struggle on normal maps.
I can't do below hard well because I keep expecting the circles to dissapear instantly so I tap too early and fuck up everything
I swear this game has the worst Random button ever. I seriously got the same song four times in a row, ironically called "To Be Continued?"

Rips all songs from osu! and sorts them into their own folders depending on what 'favorites' collection it's contained in.
Osu! used to download the MP3's automatically. Didn't know they changed it.
It does.
The program just makes it simpler.

Um. I don't think you understand.
Say you have songs you have downloaded for osu. You play them a lot.
You want some of the songs, and these songs happen to be favorited in a certain collection. You can use the program to specify that you want that collection dumped to a folder and it'll start dropping MP3s for you to use/listen to.
