Eh pen hovering is the worst. My hands are exhausted just from playing a couple of songs
you are holding the pen too hard. I did this too when i started.
isnt it easier and give you more accuracy if you hold the pen against the tablet instead of hovering it?
isnt it easier and give you more accuracy if you hold the pen against the tablet instead of hovering it?
you mean tapping? I would say no as a gut reaction but i've never tried it long term, more freedom if the pen is floating surely?
: ( I still haven't fced half of them..
you mean tapping? I would say no as a gut reaction but i've never tried it long term, more freedom if the pen is floating surely?
no i mean i hold the pen against the tablet all the time, i dont lift it when i play (1 & 2 for pressing buttons)
I'm sorry for having no idea how tablets work since I use a mouse, but wouldn't that scratch up the tablet surface after some time?
I'm sorry for having no idea how tablets work since I use a mouse, but wouldn't that scratch up the tablet surface after some time?
Correcto, however you can remove the tip as it's not a requirement for usage (the electronics will still tell that you're moving your pen over the tablet without the tip) as it's only used for what the tablets original main idea was "to draw". The tip will scratch up, de-sync your movement on the screen when playing osu and generally be a pain in the butt. Oh and the tip lasts for usually a month meaning so you'd have to replace it every month..
no i mean i hold the pen against the tablet all the time, i dont lift it when i play (1 & 2 for pressing buttons)
i did this too when i had a tablet i don't see the appeal to floating at all it's uncomfortable and less accurate mouse is more fun anywayssss
i did this too when i had a tablet i don't see the appeal to floating at all it's uncomfortable and less accurate mouse is more fun anywayssss
easier to move around and gives more vertical pen distance leeway
i tried hovering for a month and saw no advantage i don't put any pressure on the pen, i just let it rest on the tablet with it's own weight and move it with my hand
i just let my finger drag on the tablet. I dont want anything plastic-y and sharp-ish touch the tablet at osu speeds.

How's that, pwnd Also the dragging thing, the speed at which your pen moves across the tablet is way higher than anything you'd ever do in any drawing program. Well, depends of course on how big your tablet area is, sure. [editline]6th November 2013[/editline] Also how do you remove the tip and still use the stylus? You literally can't do that.

I've had the tip removed for so long that it no longer works and I chewed the top so severely that I cut it off.. I haven't had the side buttons on for ages too and everything works fine. Fine... I can't click with it and the side buttons don't work...
dude what is wrong with your desk
dude what is wrong with your desk
I cut it with my stylus because I don't respect it.

Squares are worse than stars
Anyone have some major problems with loading time after that update? I click singleplayer and it just shows the blue background for 10-20 seconds. [editline]7th November 2013[/editline] website is down too

Took the username Period from a guy inactive 3 years and only 57 plays. I didn't know you could do that.
Bet he's just been practicing offline for 3 years and is now great. Suddenly some douche steals his name.
Please add me to the players list as well. :downs: . I am still a noob.(I've been playing since last month, although I had signed up for it about a year ago). :v: .... here's my osu! profile: http://osu.ppy.sh/u/sbstratos79
I should friend every single user in the OP and occasionally go and spectate a random one. To then realise what shame I bring upon myself by sucking so bad compared to everyone else.
Over the last days I've only played with Hardrock activated and damn have I gotten good at jumps. I am amazed at how well I can even do square patterns, I weren't able to do before, now. Though playing no-mod feels weird. Too many objects on the screen at once and such a low AR, but it was definitely worth starting to play with Hardrock and compared to Hidden and Doubletime I really like playing with this mod.
