Three months ago I SSed my first Hard difficulty. Today I almost passed "Leaf - I" on Another( failed during the last ten seconds, ugh ), beat a 6.8k ranker on multiplayer and almost have got 4.000pp( 3pp remaining, UGH ) Back then I would have never dreamed that I'd ever become so good, seriously. Maps that felt like the speed of light to me are really fucking slow for me now and people constantly tell me how sick the maps are that I'm able to pass without any problems and yet I am so very bad compared to people like jesse. Overall I am really really happy and satisfied with my amount of skill and progression.
It is a really nice feeling to actually feel like you're improving. Especially when you go back to maps you used to find really difficult and they're so easy now.
Improvement does feel nice, but there are moments where no matter what you do, it feels like you're stuck at the same point for forever. Those suck.

[editline]20th December 2013[/editline] BE SURE TO TURN DOWN YOUR VOLUME Alright, here's the video feat. Zombii's pajamas and Zombii's trashcan. A few things about the tablet itself: I say it's super small, but from what I've played with it it feels really good A lot of early adopters were complaining that the surface is super smooth, but it's a lot rougher than my Intuos 3, which I like. I tried out my brother's Intuos 4 and it's a little bit rougher, so they may have been comparing it to the new Wacom surfaces. Overall it just feels really good to play with, I'm pleased.
I've noticed that some maps on taiko will have scrolling stars above the play bar, while other maps don't. Anybody know why that is?
The taiko-slider will be hidden if the map has a storyboard.
Peppy was at my local Anime Convention. He said that Osu ruined his social life,is single and available,Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is his favourite game of all time and is working on a Touhou gamemode,
working on a Touhou gamemode,
It's just like regular Osu except you score by NOT touching notes with the mouse. I'd be good at that.
this is a couple of months old but still excellent
this is a couple of months old but still excellent
I laughed but that manly body doe.
who plays osu shirtless lmao
who plays osu shirtless lmao
took words outta my mouth i only play osu in my finest suit and top hat
who plays osu shirtless lmao
i require a lack of clothing on my body in order to focus my chi energy most efficiently. it helps to distort the timespace continuum, which is how all pro players move fast enough to play these songs
What are some good beatmaps for a beginner that aren't too slow? I'm able to get an A on Lucky Star - Motteke! Sailor Fuku (RedAlice Remix)
I found a working tablet underneath my pile of of tech-crap, decided to give it a spin. Keep in mind I have NEVER used a touchscreen computer or tablet, and I only use my smart phone for texting, AND I'm a left-hander for writing. I kept forgetting that you have to physically move your hand to reach the other side of the screen, rather than just fiddle your fingers. Being a left-hander I rebound the keys so left and right click were 'Y' and 'Space' using index and thumb respectively. When I use the mouse I have it as W and D because left hand is on the keyboard. Even the easiest maps hurt me, but after a couple I seemed to have the basics down. Overall it's not exactly frustrating but it'll take a lot of time to learn a whole new control method. Is it worth the switch?
This game is ridiculous. I started playing osu! Stream on my iPod not too long ago and got a couple A's on some songs when my friend told me it was also on the computer. I don't own a tablet or a touchscreen, so I'm having trouble doing regular maps, but I'm really liking the Taiko and osu!mania maps. I don't know if they're really hard or I'm just really bad, cuz I can't complete any song with more hit notes than misses.
so i got this score on a copy of the nogard diff for banned forever where i put the approach rate to 10 if i had gotten it on the normal difficulty, i believe it would have put me at rank 14? insane
God dammit, why am I always late for those?
Timezones.
New monitor and mouse are giving me the Osu! blues. Both are twice the size of their predecessors, the mouse has a different weight, sensitivity, shape but what throws me off the most is different clicky noise. Not to mention the jump from very responsive CRT to an LED with even less delay is puts my timing off a bit, not forget how fucking big 24" is. I'll adjust eventually.
but what throws me off the most is different clicky noise.
Wait are you telling me you use your MOUSE buttons to hit the notes in Osu?
Wait are you telling me you use your MOUSE buttons to hit the notes in Osu?
Oh no no no, the clicky noise just fucks with my general usage of the computer. Keyboard W+D for best keys.
All you people with your weird bindings I use z/x it works for me. [sp]also come watch me stream or something www.twitch.tv/alobomb[/sp]
The Z and X keys don't work on my keyboard anymore, so I use Y and J instead.
Y and J? That's really odd. I would just move up to A and S if my keys stopped working.
1 and 2 cause then i can rest my hand on my keyboard
dem people who do like w/d or s/c or anything like that are tryharde
dem people who do like w/d or s/c or anything like that are tryharde
Or maybe they just play enough FPS games that WASD becomes they're natural resting position?
Oddly enough, WASD is my natural resting position but I never thought of W/D or S/C or any of these. S/D best keys is all I'm saying tho i still suck at this
I never noticed it, but the claw always presides on WASD. I still use Z/X tho.
