What map? Post the score. Tom legit wants feedback and he'll act on case to case basis so if you could provide some that'd be great. If you rant he'll fix as long as you can tell him what's up.

The oldest system we just played and got upranked and it was fun, now it's all about HR HD Insanes and HD DT at rank 12000.

Then don't expect any changes. The only difference now is you have to perform well as an individual, not relative to others.
Also the ranking system you described was system #1 not pp and not ppv2. You're describing back when getting a score meant + ranks regardless of how good it is. Oh well, tp will get fixed even more in time so just relax man.
Sorry but I'm not going to go on a treasure hunt to find all my 1353 + B/C/D/ scores and improve them all if that's what Peppy wants from me.
I rather play a hard map and get something out of it than be clamped because the system found my D score on Freedom Dive four dimensions suspicious.

Bad scores don't effect rank, good scores just accumulate.

To be honest, the only thing that would be nice atm is to know what and how much affects the amount of pp received.

How terrible. So I just have to find my 1000+ S and SS scores and change them okay dokey.
Also all my top plays are now songs who are ridiculously fast.
At least ppv1 took into hand how hard the song were, now it's just about that SPEED

I've lost ranks multiple times during Ppv1 (So that punishment part has already happened) and I feel punished now because I didn't know that my skill level were this bad, because some idiots farmed fast Insanes or played insanes with DT all day long. and now I'm going to be stuck in a sand pit because I didn't FC all the Renard songs at HD DT and all the 240 BPM Insane songs with HD DT. :v:

I don't know what your problem is and why you care so much about a number anyways. Just play the game and your number will rise eventually or simply quit, but please stop bitching here if you aren't going to at least give some constructive feedback.

I took like a 2 week break from osu to do my exams, came back and everything continued normally. I upped my limits etc.
now I'm as good completely warmed up as I was cold and out of practice after my exams
Is there srs some weirdo phenomenon that makes you SIGNIFICANTLY better after taking a break then drop to below your normal skill level?

No idea actually, I seem to pay more attention after a break, maybe that's it.
I still couldn't find the "right" mouse settings for this game since the settings got reverted back to default settings after a patch like 5 months ago.
maybe with PPv2 we can finally remove autoconverted mania maps from ranking
i wonder if mods will actually go into affecting the ranking too, so my HD/DT will actually mean something. if it doesn't i'll still play it because ~fun~

I went from 10.5k > 16.5k, not really upset, I did have quite a few HD DT hards that were probably inflating my rank a little bit, but all I want to do now is go home and play and I'm stuck outside the house

so anyone got any tips for snaking streams?
I find I can do stacks of the same length but higher bpm easier than snaking streams.
fuckin right arm tenses up and makes my hand shake
also how do I force myself to snap to notes. I miss so much because I try to smooth every note
I've found that most of the time I screw up on snaking streams simply because I stop streaming or become confused and slow down. If I don't think about it I can do them just like an average stream.
finally the [Normal] is gone from my Best Performance tab
