fucking yes ppy finally added raw mouse input. everything feels so natural now
Well, you'll have a hard time finding someone who is actively an asshole to everyone, is what I mean.
You called?
You called?
fair enough
fucking yes ppy finally added raw mouse input. everything feels so natural now
I can't tell if this actually helps or if I just think it helps.
it helps
It took me a little bit to get used to it but it's definitely better.
raw input is meaningless to tablet players : - u i didn't notice any difference on my mouse though, because i've already applied like three different fixes to eradicate all mouse accel on windows
raw input is meaningless to tablet players : - u i didn't notice any difference on my mouse though, because i've already applied like three different fixes to eradicate all mouse accel on windows
Actually, unless you're using a Wacom tablet (which uses its own proprietary drivers that already use raw input), raw input IS meaningful to tablet players, because even with most tablet drivers, Windows still applies its "Windows Mouse Precision" to it, which means they still have cursor acceleration. This is especially true on Windows 8 & 8.1 where even Wacom tablets were or are still plagued by horrible mouse acceleration. [editline]24th February 2014[/editline] mostly its there for people using Windows 8 which wants to use mouse acceleration with everything

[editline]24th February 2014[/editline]
Wait how does this work. Like I can't even imagine. Does it force some kind of lag onto the cursor or something
i've been perma'd from osu for like 4 months now sucks
gj what did you do
some kid was pretending to be a girl and that was dumb so i posted his personal info and peppy didnt like that
i've been perma'd from osu for like 4 months now sucks
nice dude try 2 years on for size (still play it to this day)
Does anyone know if you can do edit mode with mods and a dimmer background? this vidya illustrates my problem. I can do the song until then but I have no fucking idea what bpm those streams at the end are. if I could do DT in edit mode I could play that bit for a while and get used to the speed though if the bpm turns out to be what i think, 256, then if might take a while to reach that speed.
Duplicate the diff and delete everything but the part you want to practice.
Just looking at the video, I'm just kind of wondering, is reading the more complex patterns something that comes by naturally eventually? I can deal with AR8/9 songs okay-ishly but once something more difficult to read comes up, like about half the patterns here I just completely flop and fail or get really lucky and somehow pass and then do it okay only to flop at the next one.

I find that hinders my playing. I guess its just experience
I find that thinking about clearing certain patterns ensures that I manage to fuck them up
My favorite patterns are the circular ones where you can just wave your mouse in a circle and get the notes as they come, like this They were a pain in the ass at first but after a while of getting used to them it's strangely fun doing it all in one motion.
I find that thinking about clearing certain patterns ensures that I manage to fuck them up
Every once in a while there's that beautiful occurrence where a bit of a song you could not clear at fucking all because of muscle memory is suddenly 100%ed out of nowhere while you were thinking of something else. Video it No way prove it srs what
Personally my worst enemy are long jumps that repeat back and forth multiple times. I just completely lose track of my cursor after going back the second or third time. Cba to practice those though, not many maps have them.
airman dohohoho
We should play some multiplayer later today. Totally not because it'll allow me to actually get some new maps since I can't be arsed to find and download all 3000 odd I used to have

Today I learned that accuracy is the single biggest PP factor in the universe. That was rank 138 or 128 out of 30 000, 0pp.
Tsk. You just need to get better, clearly don't deserve any. [editline]25th February 2014[/editline] I don't have that much difficulty with squares at <180 bpm actually. I guess over that is when it starts getting hard. I tend to always fail back and forth jumps though.
I only have issues with jumps that go between two spaces when they're retardedly long, whether by amount of beats or screen space
You can do those in one motion? Video it No way prove it srs what
i don't know if "one motion" would be the right phrase for this but also i forgot to record sound. and playing this game while recording with fraps is kind of hard.
Dude that is literally beautiful I remember there being some "move the cursor all pretty" competition some time ago and that would so get my vote. [editline]25th February 2014[/editline] found it, too bad it never got anywhere SOmeone should do this again
